I tapped my chin thinking. "Uh, Pie?" I asked.
I heard Shane smrik. It wasn't the 'mean' smirk it was the 'playful' smirk. Gawd I love that boy!!
"Mr. Davis, would you like to tell us what I just said?" Mr Jackson asked.
"You was explaining the formula y=mx+b to us." Shane said in a hushed voice.
"Excuse me?" Mr. Jackson said.
"You was explaining the formula y=mx+b to us." Shane said in a louder voice.
"Thank you Mr. Davis. You're new here and you know what Im talking about." Then he turned to me. "Elizabeth Marie, I'll meet you after class
I rolled my eyes.
"Don't make it ALL dramatic. I know, you ass wipe." I snapped. I didn't mean to be that mean, I was still pissed 'bout my parents hatin on me.
Shane covered his mouth and tried to control his laughter. It didn't help at all. Shane hooted in laughter. "Mr. Davis?" Mr. Jackson said.
"Yes?" Shane tried beet red.
"Meet me after class with Elizabeth Marie." He said.
"Yes sir," Shane said, looking down.
I grabbed my cell phone from the pocket of my messager bag.
Ellie: SORRY!!
Shane: No problem, Chicky.
Ellie: Mr. Jackson just likes to torture us!!
Shane: Yeah....
DING DONG DING DONG! The bell went off and Shane and I sat there waiting for our doom.
