Emily, Andi, Shoshanna, Ashley and Nadia all went to the mall after school.

Nadia felt like a super star walking into the most expensive and excluise stores in the mall, the best on was Fashionistas.

It seemed like everyone's eyes were on Nadia and the Cherries.

Nadia walked throught the doorway with her four new 'friends'. All of them were chatting happily as they walked through the store. Suddenly, it was silent.

"Who is THAT?" Snickered Emily as she curled her lip. "I think she's past the weight limit for this store.  The other three giggled.

"That's soooo mean," Shoshanna snorted.

"WELL, it's the truth," Emily said. "NO offense to her, but that girl seriously needs to lay ogg McDonald's."

"Someone should let her know." Shoshanna whispered through her giggles.

"I'll do it," Ashley volunteered.

"No way!" Shoshanna gasped. Ashley shrugged.

"I'm going to call Shoshanna and I'll put my phone in my pocket so you guys can hear out diet 'talk'." She snickered and walked to the overweght girl, who was trying on a pair of Choos.

That is so mean!

"So." Ashley said, as Shoshanna turned on her cell phone on SPEAKER. "Hi, I'm Ashley."

The girl smiled and turned to Ashley. "I know who you are. You're Ashley Berg. You're like the Queen Bee in the Cherries."

"You know it." Ashley looked at us and winked. She sat next to the girl. "What's you're name? You're look like a girl at my school."

"My name is Wanda. Wanda Candy." Wanda smiled as if it was a joke, but her eyes were dead serious about her last name.

"I just love you're last name!" Ashley gushed. "It soo relates to you." Andi gasped and snuck a peek at Nadia. Andi looked super upset, just like Nadia.

"So, my dad owns a Gym." Ashley said, looking at Wanda in the eye. "Want to come with me on Saturdays? I mean, don't you want to get rid of all of those fat rolls. I mean you don't want a cute boy to trip and get stuck in you're fat rolls do you?"

Slience.

"I didn't think so." Ashley stood up and waved. "Bye Wanda Candy. Remember Club Gym. Saturday 6:30a.m. Don't be wait. We don't want to waste a mintue of getting rid of the fatness in you're tummy. Or thighs. Or... well you're whole body. Bye!" Ashley skipped toward the Cherries.

Then the girl turned to look at us, her lip quivering. Nadia's eyes widened as she recognized her as one of the girls in her homeroom and biology class. Nadia looked at Emily, Andi, and Shoshanna. They were all staring coldly, in an uncaring way, back at the girl. I looked down at my new shoes, hoping the staredown would end soon.

After about 10 seconds, the overweight girl ran out of the store, almost tripping over herself to get away from the steely eyes of the Cherries.
Nadia had seen enough.

"How can you guys do that?" She burst out. The four Cherries stared at her, surprised.

Then Emily spoke. "Well, she brought it on herself. It's not our fault she's obese."

"Yeah, she's paying the price for being such a pig." Ashley put in.

"We were doing her a favor!" Shoshanna said, looking at Nadia as if she was a two year old. "People like that NEED a reality check."

Only Andi was silent, looking up the Burberry aisle as if oblivious to what had just happened.

"Anyway, don't you want your cherry initiation gift?" Emily broke in. All thoughts of the past few minutes immediately flew out of Nadia's head.
"Yes!" Nadia said, cursing myself for sounding so eager.

"Ok then." Emily grabbed her arm and we walked toward the Louis Vouitton aisle.

What a horrible thing to say!

** Next Day :) **

 

The next day, Nadia walked into school with her new cherry handbag, a brand new outfit, and glossy straightened hair. She felt fabulous, and she could see that everyone was noticing the new NADIA.

Adrian was glaring at Nadia with fire in her eyes,

Boys were drooling over Nadia with hearts in their eyes.

Wanda was staring at Nadia with tears in her eyes.

Oh well. There is a small price to pay. Nadia was now an official Cherry girl.
