Leaving Happy

As she stopped at the corner of the water fountain , she looked around at all the people flying past her. Like everyone was put on fast forward, she felt left out, just cause she was different. No one could ever understand her at home, and no one would hold out a hand to see what the matter was. Even though, it was printed out on her face. If only they could ever see the tears that whelp up in her eyes. But no one cares anymore. No one can hear her tiny voice crying out for help. So, watching the people fly by her, she started walking back to her house. Along the way, the clouds that overshadowed all day. Threatening to burst open any minute with big drops of water, by the echoing sounds of thunder. She started rushing down the sidewalk to get home before the rain came down. Knowing that if it had poured on her, her heart would probably burst.

A little ways from her house, the first rain drop came down, landed right on her shoulder. As she looked up at the sky, another rain drop fell down right beneath her eye. As if she was to cry. The coldness of the rain, and the empty feeling inside, was together a combination that would make the deadest person feel alive. The feelings fell together as if they were magic, the magic that made her feel warm inside. Complete inside. She thought to herself, how ironic it is that the magic came from two raindrops.

As the rain continued to fall down, she made her way to her house. Seeing all the bitter things she left behind at the cold dark, lonely place, she continued walking. Right passed the forsaken house. She smiled, and gave a sigh of relief once pasted it. She had finally healed from the battle scars. The happiness that had never existed for her was finally born. Out of everyone’s life, she continued thru the rain, to find her place filled with happiness.
