this isnt the beginning...its the book that i've been writimg for a while...i hope you like this part of it!!!
They all lunged down at the entrance. Large gates made of Ice guarded it. “It’s Beautiful.” Said Rukia “So it seems.” Whispered Raine to herself Raine gently pushed it open. “Rukia…before you enter this place…you have to know that in this place…you will be faced with many obstacles. This that will hurt you from the inside out…you have to know that anything you see in here…its all an illusion created by Misty, the first of water. She created this cave with her last breath. I may not be able to stay with you for long.” “RAINE!!!!!” said Melodia “I’m not letting you give up just like that!!!” “Melodia…” “No Raine…I ill not let you give yourself up just like that…you will make it through alive!” “What are you guys talking about!” shouted Rukia “I don’t understand!” “Not now Rukia!” said Melodia “lets go Melodia! Stop worrying about me!” said Raine “Then have faith that you’re going to make it!” Raine walked in the caves without a word. Melodia followed and Rukia trailed behind confused. The caves were dark so it was hard for them to see. “Raine…are you O.K.” asked Raine Raine didn’t respond but she was…up until she heard whispers…like someone was right next to her. “Raine………Raine………Raine…..” the whispers faded away little by little. They kept going on and on. “are you guys hearing that?” asked Raine startled “What?” asked Melodia “RAINE!” the whispers turned to screams that hurt her head. Eventually Raine fell to her knees and clenched her head and grabbed her hair. “AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” said Raine “THEY WONT STOP TAUNTING ME!!!!!!!!” SCREAMED Raine “Raine!!!” Shouted Melodia rushing for Raine “Raine…let it go!!! Let it all go!!!! There is nothing you could have done!!!” “AHHHHHHHHH!!!!! IT WONT STOP!!!!!!” she screamed louder Rukia stood back not knowing what to do. She didn’t know what was going on, or what they were talking about. “Get back…” whispered Raine Pushing Melodia into Rukia pushing them separate ways. The cave shook fierce fully as Rukia sat there on the ground covering her head. But Melodia got up as quick as she could to get to Raine, but she was too late. When she made it up and even close to Raine the cave collapsed in separating Rukia, Raine, and Melodia in three different ways. The Rocks that split then apart made it to were they couldn’t reach each other at all. The voices stopped yelling in Raine head and she calmed down. “RAINE!!!!!” yelled Rukia unexpectedly “Rukia!” shouted Melodia back “Raine…are you o.k?” “Melodia…Rukia…I’m fine.” Said Raine softly “Raine…in case you haven’t noticed, there is no way for the three of us to reach each other! How are you so calm?!?!?!” “Melodia…it’s all going to be o.k. Rukia…You have to find your way through! Me or Melodia cannot be with you anymore! Rukia…you have to understand that you are going to face obstacles that may kill you…Just remember that nothing that is happening is real. Although it may seem so.” Said Raine’s voice getting silent. “Raine…” Said Melodia “I don’t…” “Melodia…get yourself out. If I’m not there when you guys reach the end…leave, with or without me!” “What do you mean without you Raine…” Rukia asked “Raine…I won’t leave without you.” “If its necessary you must.” Commanded Raine “Raine I won’t lose you!!!!!!” shouted Melodia Melodia got no response. And By that, Rukia and Melodia both knew that they have to go too. Rukia got up onto her feet and turned her face to the darkness ahead of her. She walked slowly till her whole body was swallowed into it. Melodia looked at the dead end in front of her. She paced to the wall and placed her hand on it gently. She didn’t feel anything so she pushed forward and was devoured into the wall. Raine walked ahead a little bit and started hearing the voices again. “Raine…Raine…Raine.” The whispered again “WHO ARE YOU!!!” yelled Raine “SHOW YOURSELF!!!” “If you insist…” said the voice Raine turned around with a gasp of breath. Walking alone in the dark terrified Rukia. She had no idea were she was going. She also didn’t know what these illusions Raine and Melodia were talking about. But she started feeling things wisp passed her. She had that feeling you get when you are being watched. Then she felt something right behind her. “Who’s there?” she asked in terror She felt a body pressed up against her backside. “Boo…” a voice whispered in her ear She turned around with out hesitation. “You can’t get rid of me that easily.” The voice said again with Rukia turning around even quicker “YOUR NOT REAL!!” said Rukia closing her eyes “I’m realer than you think…” Said the voice and Rukia slowly turning around “AHHHHHHHHHHHH” Melodia disappeared into the wall and fell onto the ground of the other side. Quickly, she got up. She walked a little bit forward until she herself started hearing voices. “Your useless!” said the voice Melodia turned in a full circle. “Wh…who…who’s there?” she asked with her voice shaking “Good for nothing…useless…you don’t deserve to live!” “WHO IS THERE!!!!!!!” she yelled this time “You must be stupid!” “Mom…” she said silently Raine was very frightened. You could tell by her eyes. “Why are you scared?” asked the man in front of her “you still love me right? Raine…lets finish our lives…together.” “Atena?” aid Raine in shock “Why do you look so surprised?” asked Atena Raine closed her eyes and imagined when they were still together…when Atena was still alive. Then she opened her eyes again and he was gone. “Atena…Atena?” said Raine “DON’T LEAVE ME AGAIN!!!!!!!” Raine ran down the cave further and further. She recognized everything she ran by. Not caring, she kept running further. She didn’t want Atena to leave again. Rukia screamed at the sight of Lyude. Both her head and heart raced. She thought she had killed him. “Lyude! I thought you were dead!” “You thought wrong. Rukia…I love you! Don’t you love me back?” “NO!!!!! Your not real!!!!!!!” “Then fight me!” he said “I CANT!!! NOT AGAIN.” “Then it’s your loss!” Lyude flew at Rukia with all of his force. Rukia then dodged his attack. Rukia powered up and flew behind him pushing him to the ground. Then she flew into the air creating a bow and arrow out of flame. Without a thought, she shot it at him. She had perfect aim, shooting him right through the heart. Lyude’s body disappeared into the shadows. Rukia fell on her knees and her wings disappeared. “What have I done?” Melodia didn’t know if she was hearing her mother or not. But she was almost positive. She could recognize her drunken druggy voice anywhere. Then a body appeared from the darkness. “You think you u can save the world?!?” yelled her mother in her face “You’re a good for nothing little twit!” “Your not real!!!” said Melodia closing her eyes. “I’m the realest thing you’ve got.” She whispered in Melodia’s ear. Melodia opened her eyes and looked up to her mother. “I didn’t give you permission to look into my eyes!” Melodia’s mother smacked her across her face. “MOM!!!! What happened to you?!?” yelled Melodia “Your not the mother I was a little girl. UP UNTIL I GOT MY WINGS YOU LOVED ME!!!” “YOUR SO DISRESPECTFUL!!!!!” “You don’t know respectful.” Raine whispered Melodia watched her mother disappear into the shadows and closed her eyes. Melodia fell to her knees and hung her head low. She really couldn’t go any further. Raine kept running and running and her head wouldn’t stop screaming. Then she started seeing images of her and Atena. She followed them until she reached a cliff. The same one…the same thing that happened about 700 years ago. Her and Atena were running away from the thing they saw. Way back when he as still alive. They didn’t let each other out of their sight for a minute. It was so dark at the time that they couldn’t see were they were going. Raine fell in the ice and off the little cliff. Atena caught her just in time…but just barley. He just held her hand as he hung over the edge. Raine could have just flown herself up, but her whole body and her wings were frozen, so were Atena’s. Atena lifted Raine up, but only pulling himself down. He saved Raine’s life, but losing his own. Seeing this happen again killed Raine. She stood over the edge of the ice. Then one tear fell down her cheek and down over the cliff. She closed her eyes and whispered Atena’s name. She crossed her arms over her chest and closed her eyes. “I love you.” She whispered throwing herself over the edge of the ice. Rukia stayed there on her knees. Tears going down her face. “Why cant I let him go.” She said to herself. “Why must I care about him? I have to let him go but I cant!” Rukia wiped the tears from her eyes. But more flowed from her eyes. “I must!!!” she said getting up but wiping the last of her tears away. Rukia closed her eyes and took a deep breath in. she knew she had to move forwards or she would never get the light stone. So, without a care, she moved forwards. Melodia cried and cried until she heard her mother’s tap of that Melodia always knew when she was disapproved. She looked up and saw her mom standing in front of her again. She lifted her hand and struck her with her bare hand. Melodia fell to the ground again and hit her head on the ice. “Crying is for little wimps like you!!!” shouted her mother. “Keep your hands off me.” Melodia whispered. “I SAID TO KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME!!!!” Melodia said getting up She lifted her hand to strike Melodia again. But, Melodia grabbed her wrist and threw it back. “Don’t touch me!” she said Melodia’s mother disappeared into the shadows for the last time. Melodia then pressed forwards. Raine fell for a very short time. She ended up hitting water. “Water?” questioned Raine Raine swam to the shore and she was very cold. She stood there and looked around. She saw a block of black ice. “It can’t be!” She walked towards the block of ice very slowly. She noticed a body. “Oh, my god!!!!” she shouted as her voice echoed. Raine’s heart raced as she examined Atena’s body. She gently placed her hands on the ice. She looked at looked at his gentle, pale body. “Atena…why didn’t I come after you?” she asked herself She then knew what she was going to do. She walked to the back of the block and started to push it. She pushed it further and further to the water. When she reached it, she didn’t know what to do. She didn’t think that she could lift the ice block…it was kind of heavy. But she was going to do it…she had to do it! She closed her eyes and summoned all of her strength. She took a hold of the ice block. She flapped her wings as hard as she could. It took her a second but the block lifted off the ground, as did she. She slowly made it further and further up the cliff. “You can’t make it Raine!” said a whispering voice Raine knew exactly what and who the voice was. “Atena! Your coming out with me!” she said almost at the top Her arms were getting very tired. But she was almost at the top. She finally made it to the top. The block fell hard on the ground. Raine arms gave out just in time. “I…I.” Stuttered Raine Gasping for air “n…need to…find…Rukia.” She pushed the ice block farther and farther into the darkness ahead of her. She needed to make it if she were to live. And she wasn’t going to leave Atena behind…not again… Rukia, Raine, and Melodia had all faced their fears and succeeded. All to the same path, all on the same road. Rukia saw a light at the end of the darkness. She stopped in excitement, and then she bolted forwards. The light got closer and closer until it surrounded her. There was a huge object right in front of her, six circles surrounded it. The circle closest to her had the symbol of fire on it, the one next to it had the symbol of water, the one next to that, air, then earth, then light, and then darkness. This confused Rukia so she threw a fireball into the circle with the fire symbol on it. She waited a minute but nothing happened. Rukia started to hear footsteps. She didn’t know who or what was coming, so she hid. The footsteps got louder and louder until a figure appeared form the darkness. “Hello?” Said Melodia appearing Rukia got out from were she hid. “Oh, its you!” Said Rukia That scared Melodia so she jumped. “DON’T DO THAT!!!” shouted Melodia “Sorry.” Replied Rukia “What is this thing?” asked Melodia “I haven’t quite figure that out yet. Wait…were is Raine?” “I don’t know…I was hoping you knew.” “Would you happen to have any idea what this is?” “Its probably one of Aarone’s spells.” “That’s believable.” After standing there for a minute, they started to hear a noise. It was a kind of scratchy noise, it pierced their eardrums. The noise got louder and louder until they had to cover their ears. They both ended up closing their eyes. The noise got louder and more piercing every second. Until it suddenly stopped. Rukia and Melodia both opened their eyes to see what was going on. All they saw was the ice block, and then they noticed Raine, gasping for air, leaning on the ice block. “RAINE!!!!” shouted Melodia. “Raine! What happened?” said Rukia “A…I…At-t-t-tena…i-ice…f-f-f-frozen…h-he…i…” Raine shivered falling to the ground.“R-R-Rukia…p-p-p-please…f-f-fire.” Just then, Raine past out. “Raine!!!!” shouted Melodia rushing for her. She felt Raines ice cold face. Melodia took off the coat she was wearing and place it gently over Raine. Then she looked over at the ice block. It was all fogged up so she couldn’t see anything but blackness inside of it. She rubbed her hand up and down the ice until she could see inside of it. “Atena!!” said Melodia surprisingly Rukia had no idea what was going on. “How is this possible?” Melodia said confusingly “I thought he was dead! How did this happen?” “Melodia…what’s going on?” asked Rukia “Rukia…can you…” said Melodia “I’ll try.” Replied Rukia Rukia took a deep breath in then out. She held her hands softly on the black ice. In seconds it was covered with flames. But in another couple of seconds, she took her hands off and the ice was melted. But black water still covered Atena’s body. Melodia touched it and the water broke. Black water rushed out on their feet. Surprisingly to them, it was warm. Rukia didn’t think that the water would be warm by just melting the ice. Atena’s pale, cold body lied on the floor, right above Raine’s head. Rukia gazed at it in amazement. Was it alive, or was it dead. “Rukia…I need your coat.” Melodia said while Rukia gave it to her with no hesitation She placed it over Atena’s body, hoping…for Raine’s sake…that he wasn’t dead. Melodia slowly walked over to the wall of ice behind Raine’s body and sat down up against it. Then about a minute later, Rukia followed. “Melodia…who is this Atena guy?” “It’s a long story.” She replied to Rukia “Well, by the looks of it, I have time.” “Well, 700years ago…” “Wow, wow, wow…700?” she confusingly asked. “Yeah…in about a couple of months, Raine turns 723.” “How is that possible?” “Haven’t you realize that being a fairy, anything is possible” “I still don’t get it.” “Well, as soon as your 23rd birthday hits for a fairy, you stop aging. Now for mortals, that’s a different story.” “Oh.” “Well, lets go back to when we turned 13.” “Wait…who is we?” “Raine, Sareana, Una, Atena, me, and Suki. Once we all turned 13, fate brought all of us together. We all got our stones.” “What about Aarone?” “I’m getting there! Well, when Raine turned 23, she set out for the ice castles. But Atena wouldn’t let her go alone, so he went with her. It’s amazing really because when they first met they couldn’t stand each other. But as time grew, they loved each other more and more. It’s quite romantic really. He always tried to be so normal, like there was nothing special about us. But anyways, when they went in, something happened. Raine was never really the same. Don’t ask me for the details, all I know is, only Raine came back. And now that she has found his body, I don’t know if Atena is really dead, if Raine could handle it. But after that, Aarone got the stone.” “What happened with Suki and Una?” “Una is who were trying to find. Now with Suki…” Melodia tilted down her head “I cant…its hard…” They then heard a noise coming from Raine. Her eyes twitch a little then opened.
