I pulled back with a shock expression on my face. But he, on the other hand, had a huge wicked smile on his sharp face. I took a few steps back, lowered my head and folded my hands in front of me. I felt… unfaithful.

“Now, that just proved my great love for you.” Gabe said coming closer and closer towards me. I wanted to kill him, for making me unfaithful. Adrenaline rushed through my body, and my monster began to show up on my body each step he took closer to me. He took a big breath in through his piercing noise.

“You smell so… delectable.” He said licking his lips. Shivers ran through me and I clutched my hands. He could kill me, I thought over and over in my head. Those thoughts made me quiver increasingly with harsh fear.

“Tell me, my sweet, do you love me too?” At this moment his ruthless hands traced my fearful face. My mind began to race, I do not love him I fear him. I hate him with an intense passion. But, I don’t to die. I want to be with Cameron all the more.

“Yes.” I lied. My heart began to break with every unfaith less act I was committing. Dark tears began to form in my eyes. I quickly closed them, trying to make them go away.

“Come.” He said offering his hand. I looked up at him. Even though my mind told me to go with him, my heart pushed me away, towards Cameron.

“No.” I whispered.

“What?” he said, I heard a little anger in his voice.

I quietly coughed as my heart took over. “I have to go.” I said. There was a silent tension.

“Fine than.” He said irritated, “Go.” On the last word I heard a hint of grief. I quickly looked up at him and noticed he was gone. So I began to leave myself.

I came home and saw that the door hinges were broken and the door was open. This sparked my curiosity. Who would dare to break into my home, I was the second strongest and smartest monster out there. No monster would dare touch me, except Gabe, a cold shiver ran through my lips remembering his touch. It didn’t feel good at all. I walked normally for monsters, but super speed for humans towards the door. I felt the hinges up and down scanning it for any DNA. There was only traces of my DNA (which was probably from when Cameron kissed me for the first time), plus a rusty metal iron bar that was probably used for opening the door. I opened the door slowly and crept in. I was in full defense mood and was ready for anything.

“Your finally home.” A familiar voice said as he grabbed me into a hug. My body softened from his touch and melt from his smell. I hugged him back.

“Sorry.” I whispered into his ear.

“Its ok.” He whispered back. He pulled me out of the hug and held me there for a second. Looking into my black eyes. He seemed… afraid. My heart felt like it hit against my chest.

“What’s the matter?” I asked. He turned around out of our mid-hug and put his left hand into his hair. He scrunched it up a bit.

“Nothing…” he lied. I walked towards him and put my arms around his waist carefully. He flinched a little bit at my touch. My heart hit my chest again, but this time it hurt a little harder because the last hit left a mark. I laid my head softly against his shoulder.

“Don’t lie to me.” I accused. He looked at me astonish. It looked as though he never been caught lying before.

“I just…” he began; I looked back at him, which made our faces so close together. I saw the fear wash away from his face and saw attraction begin to show more than ever. My heart thudded with excitement and my mind went blank. It was as if Cameron and I were the only one in the world at that exact moment and nothing else really mattered. He took a shaky breath in.

“I am… in love with you.” That’s when the world shattered, and I wanted Cameron more than ever. That’s when my world changed and all I needed was Cameron. I know I sound obsessed over a guy I just met, but it was just how I felt.

“But I’m scared to, because…” he hesitated for a moment, “ I know you are not human.” And that’s when reality came back and hit me like a slap in the face.
