It was the perfect Cinderella moment as I walked down the long steps. I had a thousand dollar outfit on: a short black dress, with matching black heals and a gorgeous mask with a feather on the left of it and diamonds surrounding the rims. The only problem with my Cinderella entrance was that I kept looking down at my feet to keep from falling flat on my face and completely ruining the entrance.

“Abby.” Whispered a familiar voice. The voice made my whole body flutter with excitement. I quickly looked up. Looking around the steps to see an awaiting familiar man at the steps. Actually hoping and praying that familiar man would be there. But instead another man caught my attention. He was wearing black skinny jeans with black converse sneakers; he had an old fashion tux on and a classic black mask to match. His left hand was tucked into his pants pocket and his other was running through his long dirty brown hair. I started to walk to him unintentionally; letting destiny take a hold of me.

But instead of walking on the ground like I thought, it was another step and I lost balance and fell. As I fell I saw the brown haired boy in the classic black mask sprint to me, trying to either catch me or kick me down and laugh. I was pretty sure it was the first choice.

Of course he caught me, and brought me up so I was facing him, his arms clutching mine, and my hands curled up against his chest. His eyes were in complete shock, but they were slowly fading into some other emotion, more deep and beautiful.

“Thanks.” I coughed up. My voice was raspy from the distress of falling, and the stun of his arms touching my own. I cleared my voice as quiet and polite as possible. “Thank you.” I said and looked up into his eyes. They were dark brown and had a feel of irresistibleness in them.

“Well I couldn’t let a striking girl like you fall, now could I?” He said with a goofy smile. I rolled my eyes, than felt his warm hands lower to my waist forcing my hands to wrap around his neck. Risky move, but I loved it. “Wanna dance?” he leaned down to my level, we were breath close. I closed my eyes.

“Yes.” I whispered; than we began to sway. Soon enough, I opened my eyes; he was looking down at me with a small smile broadened on his face. I smiled back and we just stayed like that; smiling into each other’s arms. It all felt like it was meant to be. Like this was my fairy tale ending; and I was actually loving it.

“I hope my blind date doesn’t get mad.” He thought, breaking the silence. Butterflies flew into my stomach.

“She’s not.” I said with a huge smile.

“And how would you know?” he asked returning the same big smile.

“Because I am she.” I said looking down. He stopped dancing, and picked my chin up with his affectionate hand.

“That means I can do this.” He leaned in, my heart accelerated and my blood raced through my body, my breathing quickened and my lips tingled with anticipation; Than he kissed my cheek. I scrunched my lips to the side. As he was leaning away from me, I quickly grabbed both sides of his cheeks and yanked him back down to my lips. Satisfying my urge. His lips felt like home. It felt like I was meant to be there. But above all they sent a flaring parade throughout my body. I felt like I was out of my body, a whole other person. I felt his warm body morph against my own, than I heard a scream. It was Lisa.

“WHO LOCKED MARK IN THE CLOSET AND RAPPED HIM!!!!!!!!” She was furious. This was the one thing she DID NOT want to happen to her perfectly planned masquerade ball. I looked over at her; she caught my gaze than stared at my blind date.

“YOU!” she hissed and pointed too, her finger was trembling with anger. “COULDN’T YOU JUST TELL HER, NOT RAPE HER REAL BLIND DATE??! CHRIS.” I instantly pushed him off me and ripped off his mask. It was Chris.
