Sunday Midnight, 22nd of September.
He was tall, with shaggy brown hair and a old fashion beard framing his face. He wore an eligant black suit; but I knew beneath his affectation of elegance and refinement was a heartless monster. Just like you Maggie commented. A quick wind of misery washed past me as I realized she was right.
"Master." I said and bowed to him. When I stood up from bowing, he slitly nodded with a slight smile on his face.
"Follow me, Lady Alivia, I have some very important news I want to share with you." He said.
"As do I, Master." I bowed my head down.
"Call me Gale." With my head still down, I looked up at him through my eyelashes. He was grining at me, his sharp pointed carnavor like teeth gleaming in the blue tint. I picked my head up and nodded. Than he lead me gracefully to his room, us going at our regular speed instead of human speed. He opened the door for me and I slightly bowed my head to thank him; he bowed back, still with that devilish smirk on. When he closed the door chills ran up and down my spine like olimpian track runners. I didn't feel safe with the man that controlled it all, the only man that could kill me in an instant and make it all seem like an accedent. I'm sure it wouldn't be his first time.
"What did you call me here for Gale?" I asked, while gracefully slipping into a rubby chair. It sqweeked with my arrival, and molded my curvey shape into itself, seeming as to wanting to make me as comfurtable as possible.
"You first, my dear." The last two words he spitt out mischeciously. My brain started to analize an escape unless anything happened. Do not be scared, not now Maggie adviced. It aggrivated me to hear her advicing me on what to do; couldn't she just take over my body once than be scared over how much strenght and power she have than flee my brain only to come back when I command it? I don't need your advice, I'm well enough on my own I said coldly to her now Leave Me Alone. the last words I tried as hard as possible to scare or frighten her away, but of course it did not work.
"I have been having a disturbance in my human brain lately." I began.
"Ahh, I was not able to let mine grow and expand because I was never near a human, not once. That portion of my brain slowly faded away. It saddend me to see it go, but I really do not have any use for it. But you on the other hand, use it every day." He started to look at me in astonishment. "Thats what amazes me about your secction. I could never do what the famous Interimo secction can do. That is why I admire you."
I blushed a little at that comment. Still in a small case of shock I managed to say, "Thank you, Master."
"Gale." he interrupted.
"Thank you, Gale. That ment alot to me, comming from you. I still feel very honored to be in your pressence." I smiled a little, but it quickly faded away. I felt like I was in a facade created by the very people who told me about him; I never thought that I'd be one of the few who would even see the Master. It's all very over-whelming and frightening at the same time.
"I am honored to be in your pressence." Gale said.
"How? What did I ever do that could make you feel that way, Mast-Gale." I said doubtingly.
"What did you not do? I barely read your mind once and I am completly in love with you." he said with a smile, reaching for my hands. Maggie wanted to flinch away, but I stood still being respectful. I was now very flustered, scarred and honored. Also sad; because I did not love this stranger, and I felt his heart in my hands. Awaiting to be crushed or loved.
I felt his mossy cold hands rapp around mine. They felt out of place and uncomfurtable. That's because he's not Cameron. My sweet sweet Cameron Maggie thought. Oh shut up, You've only acctualy talked to him once, don't go over board now I replied to her thought.
He coughed awackewardly and I relized that I spent about 5 mintues staring at his hands tower over my own.
"I soon have to pick a mate whom will hopefully help me keep my bloodline in pwer. And I want you to be that mate." he said strongly.
"May I have time to think about this?" I asked, but didn't want to ask. Or even say. It was Maggie again taking over me. I wanted to say yes; I wanted to help the Master in any way, like I was trained to do. I did not want to 'think about it.'
"It is a big commitment, so yes I understand." He let go of my hands. "You may leave." I got up, bowed, than walked gracefully out of the Cathedral. When I was out, I ran in no preticular direction and ended up next to a big misty lake, just like my dream.
