"THAT'S HORRIBLE!" Lisa screamed after I told her about my tragic 'love story.'

"yah i know." i said quietly. She patted my back and started to talk again, but i wasnt listening. My mind was back when things were as simple as it could get. 'A promise that I’ll always be here, next to you, doing what you want, never touching a girl except you if you want... and if I break it, you can break my heart again, hit me, leave, make me leave I don’t know!  but alls I do know is that will never happened I promise you that..'  Chris's promis kept repeating over and over in my head. What a usless lie, what a dumb usless lie!

"Hello???? Abyy? Earth to Abigal?!" Lisa waved her hand in front of my face.

"Oh sorry. What were you saying?" I repilied, trying to listen this time.

"I SAID, to not give up on him. He's a keeper." She winked at me than got up and held her hand for me to take.

"No, thanks i think i'll just." Beep Beep Beep. "Nevermind" i grabbed her hand and headed for my next patient. The beeper read code red so it was an early and ergent case. I walked into patient room 135 to find Chris with nine fingers.

"He Did NOT!" Lisa whispered in my ear.

I walked into Chris's room at 11:00pm, trying to find some alone time with him. I opened the door a crack and peeked in, he was sleeping. I walked in the room and sat down. I saw his big hands streched out right in front of me, it took all of my might to not hold it. So i touched it a little with my finger tips. I just started at his hands. They were so much different looking with an acctualy image to put in your brain. I moved my finger tips up his arm and sketched it in my mind forever. I just wanted him to be there forever, every single popping vein, every single strand of dark brown hair. I looked up at his face to try and keep it in my mind but i just saw his face looking down apon mine.

"Hello." he said in a scratchy voice.

"hi." i said nervously. what to say..

"What were you doing with my arm?" he teased.

"Oh," i removed my finger tips from his arm. "nothing."

"Really? Nothing at all?" now he had his classic smile on. I could tell he had a smile on, blind or not blind. I dont know why, but everytime he did smile, my heart warmed up 1000% more.

"Yah, nothing." I was still nervous and trying to figure out what to say to him. What to say? How to begin? These thoughts played around in my mind for awhile.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked me.

"What to say." i said bluntly.

"Oh. How bot I start."

"Ok.."

"I love you." When he said those words my mind instantly raced back to the last time i heard them, when they were useless and cruel.
