I was startled when he said that. I climbed off of him and sat next to him on the bed. I drew my knees up to my chest and rest my chin there. I turned to look at him. I could only see one of his blue eyes in the darkness. It was like they had a glow to them,like how a cat and dog eyes shine in the dark. Yes it was just like that except they were blue.

 " You... Love...Me," I rolled the words around on my tongue, trying them out," You...Love... ME?"

 " Yes,I do."

 I looked down at my hands silently thanking God that he couldn't see me blush. It was strange being here with him. Him. Him, whose name I couldn't remember. Holy shit! I couldn't remember his name.

  " Ummm....I feel like a total jerk right now."

  " Why?"

  " Your gonna hate me but,I can't remember your name. I'm so sorry."

  God strike me down now, I don't deserve this.

  " Its Micah,and I don't hate you," He said laughing.

  He wrapped his arm around me and kissed me on the head, then stood up from the bed and walking away into the darkness. I sat there alone saying his name in my head. Micah. Micah. Micah. How lovely it sounded in my head. Much better than Adrien,which rattled and grated on my mind. the memories of arguments and hiding bruises from my mother came flooding back.Just then Micah flipped the light switch to reveal the tears streaming down my face and my hands clenched into fists.
