" Yea." I said easing to where I was sitting up.

" So how do you feel?" he asked.

" Sore." I said simply.

" Your lip went down but your eye still kind of swollen. You sure you just sore?" he asked

" Yea, I feel better." I said.

" Good." he said pacing.

" What's wrong? Did I do something?" I asked in worry.

" No. You didn't. " he said.There was a short silence.

" Then what.." I began but he cut me off.

" What did he do to you?" he blurted out.

" Who?" I said quietly I could tell he was already upset.

" Chris. You know who th hell Im talking about" he said shouting at me. I looked away.

" Don't yell at me Mike." I said my voice quivering . I didn't know why I was crying.

" Ok, I'm sorry but what did he do to you?" he said in a calmer voice.

" Can we talk about this another time?" I said sniffling.

" What did he do?" he asked again and this time I could hear worry in his voice.

" He raped me Mike." I spat out. He looked at me with no shock but this coldness in his eyes.

" Call your parents to come and you? Imma handle all the rest of it." he said tossing me a house phone.

" Wait, where are you going I said limping behind him?" I said. He didn't answer me he just slammed the door behind him.

It took alot out of me to finally call my mama. I read the time 12:15

" Hello." she answered quickly.

" Ma, its me." I said shyly.

" Where are you? I've been calling you all morning." she babbled.

" I got into a fist fight with this girl and I just told my friend,Mike to come get me cause' I couldn't find my keys." I lied.

" Well are you ok?' she asked.

rn

" I think so . Can you come and get me?" I asked. I looked down at my clothes. Shit. I had to change into something of Mike's cause if she saw this she'd know something was up. I told her the address and everything. I tried my best not to limp while I walked so she wouldn't get suspicous. I was afraid I'd get caught cause the entire ride she kept asking questions about the "fight" I had.

When I got home I was releived that my mama just let me rest some more. She said she was trying to learn to trust me going so was trying not to make a big deal about it. As I looked out the window. I rembered why I went to that party to get my mind off Jaylin. Well that sure did work cause' all I wanted to know was what Mike was planning on doing.
