"Yesterday there was a fatal accident on highway 40. A little car pulled out in front of a semi. The Semi had no time to stop and the car went under. The semi jack knifed and the car was smashed. As far as we know there was a women about 19 or 20 driving the car. We have no word on who it was or how shes doing. We will get back to you with a follow up story." Eliajh stared at the picture of the car under the semi on the news channel. Thats my car. thats MY car. It was Janice. Is she dead? Elijah thought. He seen McKenzie on the chair starting to wake up. Then she began to cry. Elijah jumped up and let go of Krissy's hand. He walked over to McKenzie and picked her up. "It's ok, daddys here. Your ok baby." He said as he rocked her side to side. He took McKenzie back over to where he was sitting and sat back down with her in his lap. He again held Krissys hand. He turned the channel to cartoons and looked over at Krissy.
Guilty, Guilty, Guilty. 5 years. No probation. 5 years! DJ had his face in his hands crying. Sitting in his new room. Cell 154A. He found out it was Janice who was in the fatal accident. He was devistated. He knew she had made a big mistake. The whole thing was a mistake. Her taking the kid. Her shooting Krissy. He was gonna forgive her for it all. He loved her enough to buy a 2,000 dollar ring a week before the whole incident. He wanted to marry her. But now she was gone. Gone forever. All he hadleft of her, was the picture in his wallet of the two of them at thier Junior prom. He layed on his bed and went to sleep. Clutching the picture in his hands close to his heart.
Krissy began opening her eyes. "Hey baby!" Elijah whispered as soft as he could. McKenzie looked at Krissy. Krissy smiled at McKenzie. McKenzie smiled back, she tugged on Elijahs shirt "Mommys awake. daddy Look!!" Elijah and Krissy both were in shock. And Krissy's eyes filled up with tears, she reached her arms out to Mckenzie and hugged her. McKenzie crawled up in bed next to Krissy and layed there. Elijah stood up and leaned over his baby girl and kissed Krissy on the cheek. "Im going to go to the cafateria to get some breakfast, I'll ask the doctor what you can have." He started to walk away when krissy stopped him. "What happened?" he seen the look on her face. She didnt have a clue to what they did to her. Eliajh walked over to the side of the bed where McKenzie wasnt laying. McKenzie was to busy watching cartoons, and he didnt want to be in her way. He took Krissys hand and told her. He told her how they had to take her spleen out, and that she would be sore for a long while. She shook her head yes and looked away. He bent down and kissed her so gently, and left. He came back with pancakes for both his girls, they all ate breakfast in Krissys bed together.
