Krissys cell phone began to ring. She tried digging around in her purse to find it and started swearving into the other lane. A big trucker started honking and Krissy sweared of the side of the road. That was a close one. Shr thought. She put the car in park and found her cell. It had already stopped ringing so it said. One missed call, One new voice mail. She listened to the voice mail. "You honestly thought youre gonna get McKenzie. Well bitch, you thought wrong. Shes with me now. I will take good care of her. And dont bother looking for us you will never find me."She heard a males voice in the backround laughing, as she heard McKenzie crying. Krissys stomach turned. She opened her door and threw up. Elijah seen her car on the side of the road and pulled up behind her. She seen him and ran to him. Krissy let him listen to the voice mail and his eyes filled up with tears. He opened his glove box in the car and pulled out a gun. Then reached up and folded out his sun visor. There was one single bullet. "Just in case." He whispered to her. She shook her head yes and started walkin back toward her car. "NO! your riding with me, just leave your car here it will be fine. I dont need to have anything happen to you too." Krissy didnt say nothin. She just turned back around and got into Elijahs car. Her cell started ringing again. Elijah reached over and answered it. "Hello?" there was silence. "HELLO!?"Eliajh screamed into the phone. "Aww. is daddy out looking for his little girl?" He knew it was Janice. "Bitch, where is she! Tell me where she is now!!" Janice laughed, "Now I couldnt do that. This is to much fun." "Dont you fucking dare lay your hands on her do you hear me!" Elijah yelled. Click. Janice hung up. Elijah threw the phone down and pulled out into the road. He didnt know where he was going. He just drove. About a half an hour later Krissy cell rang again. Only this time a males voice was on the phone. Krissy yelled, "Where are you, wheres McKenzie!!!" "Dont worry now, shes just fine. Where taking her somewhere special she will love it." the dreepy voice gave Krissy goosebumps. "You tell me where your at right now!! or...or..." "Or wat, huh? what are you gonna do about it." The man sounded angry. But what did he have anything to be angry about. He's the one who helped kidnap a little girl. "Or i will kill you both." Krissy said as straight forward as ever. The man just laughed, "You have to find us first." Then he hung up.
Right then they were driving passed a gas station. He decided to fill the car up, since he had no idea how far ahead the next gas station would be. Krissy walked in to pay for the gas as Elijah pumped it. Krissy asked the clerk if she had seen McKenzie, as she showed the clerk a picture of her. "Ohhh my. There was a man and women about 20 minutes ago walk in here the man was carrying the little girl, she was asleep. The lady bought some chips and a soda and they left." Krissy asked "Which way did they go?!!" They headed north. "I over heard them saying something about Motel 8. So they could get some rest." The clerked told Krissy. Krissy threw down thirty dollars"Thank You!" and she ran outside. "Get in hurry, i know where there at!" Elijah didnt ask any questions and he got in. He started the car and sped away. "Motel 8, the closest one is in the next town right?" Krissy asked Elijah. "Its about 30 minutes away yea, why?" She told him about the conversation with the clerk. Eliajh sped up going 20 miles an hour over the speed limit. Krissy seen a sign on the side of the high way...'Motel 8 exit 5 turn left and your on your way to a goodnights sleep.' "Exit 5 right there!" Krissy said pointing to the off ramp. Elijah got off and they seen the Motel. There was only 2 cars in the parking lot. The pulled up next to one and looked in the back seat. There right before thier eyes was McKenzies sweater.
