Her eyes filled up with tears as she lifted her right hand and covered her mouth. Trying to hold back the tears, she pulled him up and hugged him. "Yes." She told him as the tears began to fall. "Really!" He said. His heart pounding faster and faster. He hugged her tightly then looked into her eyes. "I love you." He said it so sincerely. "I love you to." She said with the biggest smile she ever smiled. And they kissed. Krissy and Elijah had kissed many times before. But this kiss, it seemed different to Krissy. She could feel how much he loved her, and cared about her. It wasnt just a normal kiss. It was THE kiss. The kiss to show someone they truly love them. And she loved it.
Krissy pulled away, and Elijah helped her wipe her tears away. He grabbed her left hand and slide the princess cut diamond on her finger. "It was my great grandmothers" He said. "Its beautiful, I love it!" She whispered. They went and sat against the wall in the master bedroom. "So...McKenzie." Krissy began talking. "She's going to be mine to." "It is a package deal, you take me, you gotta take her to." He said laughing. "And I will. She is a sweet little girl and I would love to help raise her with you. I can tell she is going to be daddies little girl." Krissy smiled as she put her head on Elijahs shoulder. "What makes you say that?" He asked. "I can tell you love her very much. and today when she said Daddy im tired, I can see it in her eyes that she loves you very much to." "I just hope I make a great dad for her." He said with a yawn. "You will, and you will make the perfect husband." She said turning her head to kiss him on the cheek. " He put his hand on her face, "And you are the most perfect wife, anyone could ever ask for." Krissy smiled and layed her head back down on his shoulder. They both fell asleep.
Krissy woke up to the sound of her cell phone. She rubbed her eyes as she seen McKenzie laying in Elijahs arms. She smiled. It was a moment you can never forget. Seeing such a sweet little girl, laying in the arms of your fiance. She reached in her back pocket and got her cell phone. One missed call. She listened to the voice mail that her dad had left. "Hunny, where are you at its 3 in the morning! Your mother and I are very worried. Call me back. Love you." Three in the morning. NO WAY! she thought She looked at the time on her cell. 3:02 am.
"Baby wake up." She lightly rubbed Elijahs arm. "Whats wrong?" he barely said. "I have to get home its three in the morning." She whispered trying not to wake McKenzie. "Or I can call my dad back and stay with you." She said smiling. "Id love for you to stay, but its up to you. I dont want to get you in trouble or nothing." She laughed, "Baby, im 18. I can do what I want" He smiled, "I would go over there an kiss you, but McKenzie looks too comfortable in my arm." She leaned over and kissed him so he wouldnt have to move.
"Hello?" She said as her dad answered the phone."Where are you at, are you okay?" "Yes dad im fine. Look Im staying at Elijah's tonight, dont worry I'll explain everything in the morning." Her dad sighed, "Next time please call before staying out so late, we were worried sick over here." "Im sorry, goodnight, and tell mom goodnight for me too." Ok, good night to you to, love you." I love you to dad." Click. They hung up.
Krissy went downstairs and found a blanket in one of McKenzies boxes. She went back up stairs and covered Elijah and McKenzie up with it. She crawled next to Elijah and went back to sleep.
