Under the star lit night, he is just so much more romantic, and breathtaking, and mysterious, and handsome, and charming, and "Angel , baby we need to talk." Krissy's thoughts were interupted with her boyfriend, Elijahs words. "Cant we just sit here and enjoy the night?" Krissy said with her pouty face that made Elijah always gave in. "No, we have to talk now." He said looking the other way so she couldnt seduce him with her look. She said as softly as she can, "I'm sure it can wait til tomorrow.", and stared back up at the stars.
Elijah and Krissy had been dating for 3 years now. Elijah was entering his first year in college. and Krissy was finishing up highschool by going in to senior year. The college he was going to was in town so they can still see each other, until she went to college also. They both decided to go to the same college so they could always be together. Krissy was for sure that he was 'the one' and she felt so deeply in love with him. Well at least thats wat she thought.
"Krissy, Im serious we really need to talk." He said getting aggrevated that she didnt want to listen. "Baby, you know how much I love to just lay with you watch the stars twinkle above us, you dont wanna ruin it do you? Im really sure this can wait til tomorrow." She said as she stared into his baby blue eyes with an innocent smile on. "NO! It cant wait til tomorrow, and you should be happy I even want to tell you this!" His voice got even louder, "Now just listen for once and forget about the stupid stars!!" She felt afraid inside. He had never yelled at her before. She lost her stare and scooted away lookin at him puzzeled. She knew now somethign serious was up. " IM sorry, i didnt know it was this important , wat is it baby?" She asked him with a much calmer voice. "Its just.....forget it." he said in a low voice, that was almost a whisper. She looked up at him to only see a tear roll down his face. Thats when he turned away from her, cupped his hands and let it all out. She had never seen him cry like this before. She was stunned. She didnt know wat to do. Finally she snapped out of it and went an wrapped her arms around Elijah. Once he started to calm down, she whispered in his ear, " Baby wat ever it is, you can tell me, i will always love you no matter wat." no matter wat, no matter wat...the words played over and over again in his head. Her voice its like an angels,she will understand, wont she? She is MY angel after all. I can tell her anything. Cant I? He pulled away from her and wiped his tears with the sleeves of his sweat shirt.
Elijah had always called Krissy his angel. It was his 'pet name' for her, i guess you can say. He wanted to tell her the truth so bad, he just didnt know how to, this was all happening to fast for him. His mom had just passed away a month ago. And he was still trying to get over that. Thats why Krissy thought it had something to do with his mother.
"Is it about your moth.." She didnt even get to finish before he interupted her. "No its not about my mother, she didnt even know about this either. I wanted to tell both of you at the same time, but the day i planned on telling you is when she sudenly passed away."
His mother had died of cancer. She had been taking Kemo for 2 years now, but it sudenly stopped working. His father was killed in a war when he was only 2, so Elijah never knew his dad. He didnt have no siblings to turn to, the only one he had left, was his angel, his Krissy.
"You can tell me now." Krissy said with tears building up inside her. She hated to see him like this. Even more, she hated not knowing wat he wanted to tell her." Promise me you wont hate me." He said with such a serious look on his face. "I promise" she said casually. " No, Angel, PROMISE me!" He said with another tear rolling down his face. In the most sincere way she could she said, " Baby i promise."
