Dear Journal,
Last night something strange happened. Me and my dad got into a fight and I threw a chair across the room with my mind. Things like that never happen to me. I dnt know why or how it happened. Well I have to go get ready for school. I hope I have just a normal day.
I pushed my journal under my bed. I quickly got up, brushed my teeth, got dresses, brushed my hair, and put on my make-up. I took a step back to look at myself. My outfit looked perfect. I ran my fingers through my hair as I thouhgt back to the night of the fight. I oticed my eyes were a brighter now. I wondered if it had anything to do with the chair thing. I didnt have much time to think about it because I had to go to school. I grabbed my stuff and my car keys and drove off.
I walked down the hall and see Alec leaning agains the gym doors. I had a huge crush on Alec but he never even noticed me. I walked up infront of the gym doors. Before I could say anyhting he looked up and smiled at me. "Hey you're Riley aren't you?" "Yes." I stampered He chuckled at my expression. "I would like to talk to you more. I will find you at lunch." He winked and then walked away. My breahting was unsteady and I felt a little light headed.
The rest of the day went on so slowly but finally it was time for lunch. I looked everywhere for Alec but I couldnt find him. I gave up and went outside. The wind blew my hair around. I felt a pair of hands wrap around my eyes. I twirledaround so fast I tripped over my own feet but someone caught me. I looked up and seen I was in Alec's arms. He helped me up and smiled. "Well hello there Miss Graceful." He chuckled. I could feel my face turn red, but I smiled. After a while his smile faded and his eyes grew dark. "Riley, what Im about to tell you might scare you but you have to listen."
