She sat in her bedroom all alone... the tears rolling down her face; wetting the white sheets. She hugged her pillow, and cradled her self in the corner.
"How could this have happened?" she looked at the golden locket upon her dresser. The thought making her heart sink lower and lower, making her tears fall more and more.
She looked out the window to see the sun staring back at her. She hugged the pillow closer, as the feeling of lonliness began to overwhelm her.
Finally she reached for the locket and threw it across the room. The sound of Gold hitting wood filled her ears. The house as silent as death... She Crawled out of bed, walked over to the shattered locket, and reached over to pick it up... She stood there tracing out the symbols with her finger and opened it. Both faces stared back at her, her mother, and her father.
Two people she would never see again.
