Straight Broken Chp. 5

After a few seconds passed, Masahiro was still in shock, and Kojima just stared at him as he slowly tooked the leaf that fell on his new friend's face off. Suddenly, he felt like the few seconds passing was mintues, hours even. Jyst looking at masahiro's face, he felt like everything was at a stop. The fangirls and random people with their dogs weren't there. Nor his sister or Minawa, who had nosebleeds and was mumbling curses of this moment, was there.

"Masahiro, my dear friend, open your eyes...." he said softly, as he leaned foward, close enough to feel Masahiro breathe on his skin. Slowly, as his eyes were opening, Masahiro looked at kojima, and only Kojima. "Kojima, I-I.... I think we'll be friends for a long time..." But then he finally notice, his thoughts screamed, "YOUR BEING GAY IN THE PUBLIC PARK!" and he stood up with no hesitation. "B-but, only friends...." he said, so soft and like he wasn't into what he was saying. Deep in his mind, he knew, he had strong weird feelings in with Kojima, but in his other mind, which controled him mostly, said, "You can't be with a guy. Surely you are not gay." And it was true. he was not gay. But he was not straight either, he knew.

"Saruwatari, please understand, I may not have feelings you have for me, but i wish we can still be friends-"

SLAP! She was crying, sobing all over the place. "You-you homo! I sericouly loved yooo-cough-oooou....." She fell, and curled up like a ball in th ground. Masahiro looked so... Helpless. "Kojima may think the wrong way... But she is still my friend, no matter what." He turned around, and saw in Kojima;s eyes, saying "It's alright, I understand." And with tears in his own eyes, he helped up Saruwatari, and as she cried on his shoulder, she cried also, and some laughter came out. "Saruwatari, please let us still be friends, we had so-cough- many good times together, and I-cough- don't want that bond of happiness to stop..." His ex-girlfriend was calming down, as she still weeped.

"Masahiro... I will never let our friendshp stop. If being gay is what will make you happy, I-"

"I'M NOT! I'M NOT!" he cried, as she was let go of his grasp. "I'm sorry! Please, don't-" but too late, he was crying, knees on the ground and head down.

"Masahiro..." Kojima said deeply and so soft, and Masahiro looked up, saying so serios and firm, "Kojima, you're... The best friend I ever had..."
