      She walked past old empty buildings and broken down cars.How much she could relate to them.Useless,Broken,Thrown away like garbage, never to be used again.She wasn't sure what she was going to do now,either live or die.The constant thought of death flowed through her head, like water flows through a river.All she knew now was that her only hero has fallen,and may never be seen again.

   She stared at an abandoned building trying to decide wheither or not she should sleep there tonight.It was a two story building with an attic and a basement.She could tell it used to be a beautiful extraordinary home.The owners must have up and left she thought noticing the priceless artwork on the walls.

           She happen to see a photo on the fireplace mantle and picked it up.stared at it for a few minutes.It was a family of four and they looked so happy together.She wondered why her family was never as happy as theirs.She began to look around the understairs bedroom to what appeared to be a little girls room.It was covered in tattered pink stripped wallpaper with red bows on it.There were dolls and toys arranged so neatly on the shelves.She couldnt help but notice a dairy laying on the nightstand next to the bed.She look at it for a few seconds and put it back down.

          Soon she entered the guest room.There wasn't anything unsual it was the basic guestroom you'd find in any house.She began to get hungry so she walked downstairs toward the kitchen to see if there may be any food they left behind.She stopped in the doorway and stared in awe,it was the most beautiful kitchen she had ever seen.It wasn't really up to date,it had that old family touch to it nothing fancy.She just stood there and admired it's welcoming feeling.She went through the cabnets and found some lavvy's ruffle chips.They smelled good she thought as she took a hand full and shuved them in her mouth.

     She started to look through the other cabnets for more food. When suddenly she heard footsteps on the floor above.She started to panic so she ran into the living room and hid behind the couch.A shadow walked across the floor in front of her.I'm going to get caught again .No.No.This can't be happening not again I won't go!She noticed the dust in the air and started to sneeze.The shadow stopped.It started moving towards her.So braced herself for what was top come,she crawled into a ball to protect herself.

       "How'd you get in here?!" the voice asked.She opened her eyes and looked up and saw a girl in her late teens.She wore a pair of ripped up jeans,a nirvana shirt and chucks."Well, are you gonna answer me kid?".Isabella just sat there and stared at the girl with an unsure face."Look here kid,you don't have to give me a look either you want my help or not."Isabella go up and follow the girl upstairs to the attic.There were probuably half a dozen kids there of all ages.

       "Alright guys we got another helpless life so make get to know each other and enjoy yourselves".The girl picked up a jacket laying on top of a chair nearby and walked back down the stairs. A little boy that look about 10 Isabella guessed walked up to her."What's your name?" he asked in a kiddish voice.She hesitated for a second "Isabella"."Well,mines Damion."She could tell by the faces the other kids were giving her that they didn't want her there."Maybe if you talked to them,they wouldn't look at you like an outcast,They are really nice people if you get to know them."Isabella didn't care if they like dher she just wanted to go to bed and wish all her problems away.Damion showed her to an empty bed in the corner of the and explained to her she can come and go when ever she wanted.But,to make sure she wasn't followed.She laid down on the bed and just thought of having a new life until she fell asleep.

     She awoke that morning to the smell of blue berry pancakes.Isabella walked downstairs toward the kitchen when she heard a familar voice. She turned around and saw Zara."ZARA!!"she screamed.Zara looked over to see Isabella run towards her.They both hugged each other tight and just sat on the ground and cried,until Damion came to see the commotion. "You guys know each other?"he asked in a curious tone."Yea!We do.We grew up together,she's one of my best friends!"Zara screeched."Well you guys need to keep down or they will hear you."He warned.

       Isabella and Zara spent the whole day telling each other what happen to them."Yea when I heard you ranaway.I went totally insane and I ended up snapping on my mom and just bolted out the house and never looked back."Shocked by what she her Isabella apologized to Zara for leaving her without notice."Look Izzy we've been friends since ever.I would never be mad at you,I'm just concerned on why you ran."Neriously Isabella began to look down at her shirt and started fiddling with the string on Brad's hoodie."Izzy what happen why won't you tell me what's going on?"She looked up at Zara and stuttered "I just got stressed out is all nothing to worry about."Feeling horrible she just lied to her best friend Isabella started to cry.Zara helped Isabella to her bed and laid there with her comforting her.

              It wasn't till a week later Isabella and Zara were walking back to the building.When they noticed a man dressed in a business suit walking with a well dressed woman into the building.Unsure of what was going on they went and sat down at an outside restruant across the street.All of the sudden yelling and screaming came from across the street.Zara and Isabella watched in horror as they watched Damion and 2 other little kids were being walked out of the building by the couple.A white van pulled up in font of the building containing three officers.Zara tugged at Isabella arm"Oh my god.....Izz we need to leave now!They found out it's a matter of time before those kids tell on us.We can find another place to stay come on."

      Isabella and Zara got up quickly and walked into the deeper part of downtown until they found an old broken down hotel."Lets stay here for tonight maybe things will be better in the morning"Isabella suggested.They found a room on 3rd floor and each of the girls fell asleep without another hesitation.
