Why Full Moons Are Important To Me

He is now outside of a house on the porch and he's staring at the full moon. This is the most important moment and symbol to him and he's been waiting for a month, every since the last full moon just to see the full moon again. He's staring at the full moon with his arms crossed like he's holding himself. He says "I love you" to the full moon and he hears her voice in his head saying "I love you too." He's not schizophrenic, at least he doesnt think he is. But he wants to be. He knows the voice is coming from inside his head, but he still believes he's communicating with her. he believes she really said it back to him.

He imagines himself standing there with his arms around her, and together they're staring at the moon. Everyday the full moon remains, he goes out and repeats his message to her. Sometimes he says her name, but there are just moments that he believes she knows he's talking to her. This is really his only way of communicating with her because he cant see her outside of school. To him, the full moon is a symbol of love and that its a gateway to talk to the one you love. Especially when you cant call someone or see them outside of school. This is also how he says things to her when he doesnt feel comfortable telling her or he just cant tell her for some unknown reason.
