Je T'aime, Beau 7

    

     Matt appeared with Heater behind him and I felt a frown cross my face. "Damnit, Matt. What the hell are you doing here?" I asked him and he looked at me. "I told you not to come.

     "Well, that's too bad, Tawny. Because Amber is my friend, too." We glared at eachother as silence went around the room.

     Brooke suddenly sighed and got up from the couch she was sitting on with Piggamuffin in her arms. "Guys, grow up. You guys are 24 years old. I think you can handle being the same room together."

     "Whatever." I muttered and turned to Amber. Seth had laid her down on the longer couch. I walked towards her and sat down at her feet, lifting them and putting it on my lap.

     Seth was pacing the floor in front of them. Nathan and Brookelle were trying to teach Piggamuffin to roll over. And Matt and Heather were whispering to eachother.

     Seth was muttering under his breath, I struggled to hear. "Pregnant? She's pregnant? What the hell. How did that happen?" He stopped in front of me, put his hands on his hips and looked at Amber's belly.

     "Well, Seth. I thought you would have know by now how babies are made." I paused at watched his reaction. "Want to tell me how Amber's was created?"

     He sighed and rubbed his temples. Everyone was watching us now. Even Piggamuffin seemed to be listening, with his head on his front paws, his behind up in the air.

     "I used a condom... --"

     "Damnit, Seth." Matt said. "I thought you guys broke up. And if you used a condom, why is she pregnant? More importantly, why the hell did she faint anyways?"

     "She went into shock and her breathing probobly staggered." I answered him. Having to take four years of studying to be a nurse athistatic, I should know.

     Matt turned to me, his eyes were clear blue, even from the other side of the room it showned. "And what made her breath 'stagger'?" he asked in a mocking voice.

     "The shock of hearing the father's name." I answered back and everyone turned back to Seth. "Now it's back to you again."

     He gave us all an angry look. "I told you I used a condom. It probobly ripped. And that's not my fault."

     "It's your fault that you didn't even know it ripped!" Brooke almsot yelled, startling Piggamuffin.

     "Well, how was I suppose to know? She came on to me. She seduced me. She's the one who said that she only wanted it to be for one night. I told her I couldn't be in a realtionship, damnit. I'm the victim here."

     "And yet she's the one with the baby." I told him. "I need a drink." I said and Nathan said he'd get everyone a bottle of water.

     I felt Amber's legs twitch and I turned my attention to her. "Amber? Honey? Can you wake up?" I whipered and gently reached over and brushed her hair away from her face.

     Her eyes fluttered open and she looked at me first, then her gaze went around the room, then landed on Seth. "Shit." she mouthed.

     "Shit is right." Seth said. "Amber, you're pregnant!"

     "No way. Is this what huge thing is? I thought i just got fat real fast.  It's been five months, Sherlock." Amber rolled her eyes and sat up.

     Nathan came back with the water bottles and handed everyone one. "Hey, you're awake."

     "Whatever, forget about that. We have to talk about this baby." Seth said.

     "No, no, no." Amber laughed. "Babies."
