“Rox? Wake up.” Roxanne felt soft lips touch her forehead and opened her eyes. “Look what I got!” Trevor held up a cage and inside lay a small bunny about the size of your palm and it was white and fluffy.
Roxanne gasped and sat up in bed. “Oh my god! You got a bunny!” She opened the cage and grabbed the bunny it was soft in her hands. “Yeah, I thought you might like a pet.” He smiled at her and sat down next to her. “What do you want to name him?”
“It’s a guy?” Roxanne asked and when Trevor nodded, she said, “Hmm… how about Bullet?”
“Ehh? That sounds like a dogs name. How about Raisin?” That made Roxanne laugh. “Raisin? Ha, that’s funny. How about…Cali?” she asked and kissed the bunny’s nose.
“Cali…? As in California? Why would you want to know it that?”
“I don’t know, I think it just fit or something.” She lay the bunny on a pillow next to her and turned to face it. Trevor laid down behind her and propping his head on his left hand, his other hand was on her waist. He leaned forward and kissed her ear.
“But it’s your bunny so you can name it whatever you want.” He reached for the bunny and stroked its soft back. “He’s really cute, huh?” he asked her, she nodded. Trevor pushed her back and now she was lying on her back; him partly on her.
Trevor found her with her eyes closed. “Yes, he is.” She whispered. “I love you, Trev.”
He kissed her lips. “I love you, too. Why don’t we go eat something first then we can play with Cali, kay?” She nodded and leaned forward to give him another kiss. She opened her eyes and took the bunny to put it in the cage.
Roxanne stood up with her short pink shorts and a blue tank top. She grabbed Trevor’s left arm and snuggled to it. They walked together downstairs to the dining room where candles were spread out everywhere, even though it was morning, it was still shining.
Rose petals were scattered around the small circle table, just like the first time they made love. Soft music was playing and breakfast was made into a smiley face on the plate. “Trevor, what is this?”
“It’s a celebration of our relationship. And Cali’s birthday.” Trevor kissed the tip of her nose and let her sit on one of the chairs. Trevor walked over to the wine glasses to pour sparkling cider in them. “I know you don’t like to drink that much. So I bough sparkling cider.” She smiled and they made a toast.
They ate their breakfast, talking about what they did before all the trouble began. Before those things ruined half of their lives. They ignored that part. Never brought it up.
They finally finished and cleaned up. They walked upstairs, giggling and Trevor chasing Roxanne. They walked into the bathroom, taking a shower together. When they got out about an hour ago, they dryed up and put on some clothes.
Roxanne carried Cali downstairs and outside and she sat under on one of the trees. Trevor sat next to her. “Why don’t you relax for a minuet and I’ll go get some snacks for us to eat.” Trevor asked and took Cali.
“Why? We just ate like a few minuets ago.” She said and kissed his cheek.
He smiled. “Yeah but you wore me out when we were in the shower.” She laughed and said okay. He took Cali and started to stand up when she stopped him. “Why are you taking Cali?” she asked.
“I don’t know. I have a job for him.” He smiled. “You gave little cutie a job? Awh, poor bunny.” She pouted. He sat back down to kiss her pouting lips. “Yeah but it’s a good kind off job, something that you’d probably like.”
“Okay if you say so.” She said and he stood up, once again, she stopped him. “Wait! I want a kiss.” He laughed and leaned down to kiss her. “Promise you’ll come back?” she said against his lips. “Always, I’ll never leave you, my love,” He kissed her one more time and left.
Roxanne smiled and looked at the lake. A few minuets later Trevor came back, his hands behind his back. “What’s up?” she asked and leaned forward to catch his kiss.
“Nothing. But I wanted to ask you something.” He said and sat in front of her revealing a white rose. “Awh, Trevor. Thank you.” She said and kissed him. “Where’s Cali? Oh here he is.”
Trevor snapped back. “What?! Where? Wait! Cali not yet you silly animal!” Trevor bellowed and stood up and quickly grabbed the bunny. “Trevor! He’s not a silly animal! Give it to me!” Roxanne stood up. “Wait Roxanne, don’t take the bunny just yet—“ Too late, Roxanne grabbed the bunny.
“Aw, Cali baby are you alright? Don’t worry he didn’t mean to call you—“ she stopped. Something was strapped around Cali’s neck.
“Rox, wait…” he tried to take the rabbit but she was already looking at the silver engagement ring.
So yeah well I kept on typing rabbits as ‘babbits’ cuz thts how I call rabbits (:
But I changed them, it took me a while but I did (:
