Hi so I only got 7 rates for the last one and I realllyy like this story.
Please give more rates!!!
I stared at him, unable to speak. After about a mini second. I stood up and stared at him. “That was uncalled for. I am so not that kind of girl.”
“What do you mean?” he asked innocently and leaning back on his chair, he crossed his arm over his chest and lifted an eyebrow.
“I don’t just go out with guys that easily. I was offering to get to know you better.” What am I saying? Didn’t I want a date? I do f course, but with him, it felt different. Like I wanted to start as friends and work our way up. Yeah, stupid but how are you going to do without a date?
“Well I don’t know what your saying. If you want to get to know me better wouldn’t you want to go on a date?” he asked confused and scratched his wrist. I saw slashes on his arm and gaped at it. He quickly saw what she was looking at and covered his wrist.
“Why do you do that?! Didn’t you know that’s bad influence on your friends?!” She hissed.
“What friends? I’m new, dummy. I have no friends. And you shouldn’t be talking. I saw those cuts right when you walked into the class.” He said right when the bell rang and more people ran through the open door and took their seats.
I sat at my own seat, dumbfounded at what he just said. How can he see it? No one has ever seen it in my life. I was pretty good at hiding it. I mean, I never even told Nicky.
I snuck a look at him and found him already looking at me. He stared at me so intently that I had to look away first because I couldn’t stand looking at it anymore.
The class went by fast because all the teacher did was introduce everyone and himself and explain what the class was about. Like anyone was listening. Like I could HELP listening. I couldn’t stop stealing looks to Tanner. It’s like I’m addicted or something. It was not healthy.
Each class pretty much was like that the whole 6 and a half hours of school. I figured out I had 4 classes with Tanner and his locker was across the hallway from mine. We had A lunch together but we didn’t really talk. We just looked at eachother llike we had this secret code that only me and him knew.
Like he already knew everything about me.
Creepy.
After school. I found a note taped to my locker. Still up for that date? It said and doh I knew who it was from. I turned around and bumped into hard chest. He was at least a foot taller than she was and the top of her head came right under his chin.
He backed up a step and snickered. “So still want to go out?” he asked, not a hint of shyness or nervousness. Nice.
Not knowing what to say, she blurted out, “I have a car.”
He reached up and brushed my bangs away. “No problem. I’ll follow you home then just get in my car, kay?”
Then she suddenly remembered Cody. “I promised my little brother that I’d take him to the park right after school…”
“Bring him along then. I love little kids. I have a kid sister. She’s 2.” He said and walked towards the exit. “I’ll wait for you outside.” I nodded and quickly grabbed my stuff from my locker and found him waiting by an old black BMW. He smiled and got in while I got in my carr.
It was a short drive from the school to my house. I saw Cody waiting on the porch with a baseball glove and a baseball bouncing up and down on it. “Mony! Youwe (your) home!!” He ran in the house yelled. “Mom, I’m leaving. Mony’s home!” and then ran towards me, jumping up and getting catched.
I Squeezed him and let him fall down softly. I heard a door slam behind me and knew Tanner was there. “Hi, I’m Cody. I’m Mony’s little brother. I’m 3 years old. I don’t go to school yet but I will. I like to play baseball. I love the color blue. I like to go –“
I quickly interrupted saying, “That’s enough, Cody. I don’t think Tanner cares about those stuff.”
I was shocked when Tanner went on his knees and shook Cody’s hand. “Hi, Cody. I’m Tanner. Your sister’s friend. I like baseball too but I love the color black. And I go to school with your sister. Anything else you’d like to know?”
Nodding, Cody leaned over and whispered something to him. When he was done, Cody looked at Tanner with those cute little boys eyes, waiting for an answer. Tanner looked up at me and smiled. “Yes, I do, Cody. Yes, I do.” He said.
