THIS IS A TESTER PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU LIKE IT OR NOT AND WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT IT KAYY?
Yes! Senior year I thought and jumped down the last three steps on the stairs. Ha so yes, I’m 18. I blow my candles at March 14th. I’m a senior at John Glen High school in a city in Michigan some of you might not know, Westland. Told you you wouldn’t know it.
Let me tell you about what I look like now. I have bleached blonde hair and I dyed the half bottom of it black. Gray eyes with specks of green, and I am such a big fan of eyeliner and mascara, that’s the only kind of make up I wear. I’m emo slash preppy. I cut in times, get over it.
I have an older brother, 20 and in college, and a baby brother, 3. Both my parents live with me in a 3 floored house. And we have a dog named Bullet. I pretty much avoid drama, till this year…
So back to my morning, I walked downstairs and grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl in the middle of one counter and walked to the living room and grabbed my bag.
I was dressed in tight dark jeans with my black converse. I had a black undershirt on with a white Hollister t-shirt on it. My hair was long and straightened and parted to the side.
“Cody, baby, I’m leaving!” I yelled then heard little footsteps coming down the stairs then little arms hugged me tightly.
“Come home early so you can take me to the pawk (park) kay?” Cody, my little brother asked. “Mon? You pwomise?”
“Yes, Cody I promise. Now I have to go okay? I’ll see you later.” Kissing my little brother’s forehead then walked out the door. I took my keys from my bag and got in my orange mazda6 and drove away to high school.
I met my best friend there, Nicole Karek. “Wow, Monique Casadee, you clean up good.” She commented and laughed. “So we only have 3 classes together, huh? How can you live without me?”
I giggled. “I put on a fake smile everyday and cry in my sleep, Nicky.” I said and gave her a quick hug. We walked towards are locker which is 5 lockers apart. We grabbed our books for 1st hour literature class, which we had together. “Excited about this year?” I asked.
“Oh, yeah. Can’t wait for the hot new guys.” Typical Nicole. Thinking about guys. She had no problems with them of course, she was beyond pretty. She had short dyed red hair and skinny and just no words of how pretty she is.
“Yeah, well there might be none and we’ll probably get stuck with the lame ones from last year.” We walked into Mr. Zelman’s class and sat in a random seat. Mr. Zelman will maybe assign us seats later. I looked around to see who was in our class.
Ashley…Cameron…Spencer…Tawny…Dana…Trevor…and ahhh. Who is that? A guy with dirty blonde hair, baggy pants, and a gray Abercrombie shirt. And it fits because he looks like an Abercrombie & Fitch stud.
He looked at me and his chocolate brown eyes sparkled like he laughed at me inside but didn’t show any signs of smiling. He winked, without a smile, at me then turned back around. “Oh my god, Nick. I found one.”
She looked at me and I eye pointed to the guy I just saw and she gave me a thumbs up and turned back around to talk to Ashley. I was glad she didn’t make a move on him like she does with every guy.
Taking a deep breath, I stood from my seat and walked over to him. When standing over him, he looked up. “Hi.” I said. And he nodded. What is up with guys and nodding as a greeting? It’s lame.
I took the seat in front of him and turned to face him. “I’m, uh Monique Casadee. You new?” He nodded. I looked at him, he looked even better up close. “So uhm, what’s your name?”
“It’s Tanner Lambert. And Monique, that’s a nice name.” He finally smiled and he had a nice one.
“Thank you.” A silence then he shifted how he sat, crossed his arms on the desk and leaned closer. “It there a reason you came to sit in front of me and try to make conversation?” he asked. “Or am I dreaming all this.” He smiled and I knew he was making a joke.
“Lame line but yeah, I was going to ask if you needed any help with anything around here? You know since your new and all.” I stuttered that all out and quickly blushed.
“No, actually I don’t.” he said and her heart fell. “But, you can tell me where you live and I can pick you up later.”
