Tawny's POV
She wiped tears from her face and stomped away leaving wet tracks behind her. She suddenly heard loud squishing noises and turned around, seeing Spencer running towards her.

She was excited but the same time mad. She started running but you know how guys run faster than girls for some reason? Yeah. That happened. He grabbed her arm and gently spun her around to face him.

"I'm sorry i'm late. I had a little problem and lost track of time." he said. Tawny looked at him, his hair covered his right eye and was dripping wet. His fancy white shirt was soaked and his black pants were muddy. "You look beautiful by the way."

Anger burst in her. "Beautiful?! After waiting for you under that god damn tree for 45 minuets. You think i'm beautiful?! My only fancy dress is ruined! My hair's a mess and...and...i was so excited. And i was waiting there for you...and you never came." Tawny walked away slowly.

Like the stuborn ass that he is, he grabbed her arm again. "But i'm here now. And i really do think your beautiful, without your fancy dress." Then he smiled. "Wait. That didn't sound right. I'm sorry about the dress, my love. Would it make you feel better if i bought you a new one?"

She slapped him, hard on the face with her right hand. "I don't want your goddamn charity." Then smiling, she hugged him tightly, so tightly that it seemed she never wanted to let go. "But i'm glad you came. Even though you were 45 minuets late." Tawny slapped him again. Then kissed his lips lightly. "But it was worth the wait."

Putting his arms around her tightly, he kissed the tip of her nose. "You know, Ms. St. Clair. I never met a lady like you before. So incredible, so nice, and not to mention, a pretty gorgeous human being, inside and out. That's kinda special."

"I think you're pretty special too." Suddenly, out of postively no where, the rain stopped and a bright rainbow showed above. "Well." she sighed out. "Isn't that beautiful."

"You know i think we said that word enough already." They started walking towards the sycrome tree. "I really am sorry for being late. I'll make it up to you. I will. It'll be a surprise, though."

"Okay." They sat under the tree, her between his parted knees and draped over his hard, muscled chest. She looked up at him and saw him looking back, for a moment, they just looked at eachother and Tawny quickly realized that the anger and sadness that was in her before has been washed away by just looking at him.

"You do extrodinary things to me, Spencer." Tawny said, putting her arms on top of his which was wrapped around her waist. "Like what?" he asked, nuzzling her wet hair. Tawny shrugged, "Things other guys --other people-- can't do."

"Huh. Want to give me an example, my dear?" "Making me forget things, like emotions. And making me forgive you that easily. And..." "And what?" Spencer asked and Tawny turned bright red, as red as her hair. "...turning me on..."

Laughing, Spencer layed down on the soft wet grass and dragged her on top of him and firmly holding her in place. "Really? Want to see what things you do to me?" Tawny kissed him and didn't stop till they were out of breath. "I'm not ready yet, Spencer." Tawny whispered.

Spencer tucked a piece of curled hair behind her left ear. "I'll wait. Even if it takes longer than a year...I'll wait."
