"Well yea, of course I did. I was starting to think you weren't going to show up though." Allie said.

"Sorry, Megan.. was... uh, you know what, never mind that." He laughed.

Allie walked over to the picnic table that was sitting under the tree and sat down on top of it. Nick slowly walked over an sat near her.

"So, this might not be over between us?" He asked.

"I don't know, it might not."

"You probably hate Megan, don't you." He laughed again.

"It's not funny, Nick."

"I'm sorry."

"I hate you for going out with her."

"I know, I'm sorry about that too.."

"No, let me finish." She cut in.

He stopped and listened to everything she had to say.
"Do you realize what you would feel like if you saw me kissing some guy, do you know what that would feel like, Nick?"

"Yes." He said rudely.

"Oh you do? You would know what it would feel like to see someones tongue down my throat?"

"Yes, Allie. I do know what that feels like. You're not the only one in the world who has been cheated on you know."

"NICKKIE!!!!"

Nick looked up and saw Megan standing at the top of the hill waving him to come up.

He rolled his eyes and looked back at Allie. She wasn't looking at him. She had her arms crossed, looking at the ground.

"Allie.." He continued..

"Nickie!" Megan yelled again.

"Hang on!" Nick yelled back.

Allie looked at Nick. She looked like she had tears in her eyes.
"Look, Allie. I do know what it feels like and I'm sorry that I caused you to feel that way. I really am. I still love you. You should know that. Megan means nothing to me. I'm going to break up with her when I get up there."

"Nick, I don't care what you and that slut do. I really don't care anymore."

"Why are you being like that."

"Because, Nick.. you messed everything up. So I should naturally be pissed at you."

"NICK!!!!" Megan yelled.

"Megan, would you please hang on!" He yelled back.

"Allie, I didn't mess this up. So don't blame me. You were the one who wouldn't let me explain. You were the one who ran from me that night. I would have made things better if you just would have let me."

Allie stood up. "I shouldn't have came here to see. I should have known you were just going to be an ass." She started walking away.

"Allie, no. I'm not letting you leave. You're just scared."

"Excuse me?!?!" She stopped walking and turned around.

"Yea, you're scared that you'll get hurt."

She just laughed and started walking again.

"No." He stopped her from walking. "Allie, when are you going to open your eyes and start thinking straight? This is life. You can't just shrug me out of it like an old faded memory. Because I'm going to keep coming back wether you like it or not."

"Nick!" Megan yelled once more.

"Oh my god." Nick yelled. "Would you shut the fuck up woman!"

Allie looked at him and couldn't believe he just said that to her.

Megan started walking down the hill.

"Oh, well that's just great." Nick said while looking at Allie and laughing.

"Nick! What is your problem. What the hell are you doing?" Megan yelled at him when she got to the bottom of the hill.

"Megan, we need to talk." Nick said while walking to her.

Allie walked back to the picnic table and sat down and watched as they fought.

"Oh really, this better be good because I'm going to be late for my next class." Megan said.

"It might not be as good as you hoped for." He smiled. "I'm breaking up with you." He backed away from her a little.

"WHAT?!?!" She yelled.

Allie put a little grin across her face.

"You heard me." Nick smiled more.

"Nick, what are you doing?" Megan yelled more.

"I am breaking up with you. Did I not make it clear just a second ago?"

"Why?"

"Do I really have to have a reason?"

"YES!"

"Okay, fine. I think you're the biggest bitch. I hate myself for ever likeing you. You're a slut. And your breath kind of stinks."

Allie's jaw dropped.

Megan put her hand over her mouth then slapped him across the face then walked back up the hill.

Nick rubbed his face a little then turned around to find Allie sitting at the table smiling.

"You think it's funny that I was slapped?" He smiled.

"A little."

"Still pissed?" He asked while walking over and sitting beside her again.

"Yes."

"I am too."

"Why are you pissed."

"Well not just pissed, confused. I saw Mark today."

"Oh."

"Yea. I saw you too."

"Nick.."

"What do you think you're doing, Allie? Do you want me to get suspended?"

"What?"

"I bumped into him and almost lost it. Because of what he did to you. I'll never be his friend again. Even if you become his friend, I'll never be his friend. I just don't understand why you want to be friends with him."

"I'm not friends with him."

"Oh, what a releaf. Because that would suck."

"I'm going out with him."

"What?!?!" He stood up a moved away from her a little.

"Nick."

"Allie! No.. Okay, seriously now. What the fuck do you think you're doing, Allie?"

"Nothing. Okay, Nick.. nothing!"

He tightened his fists. "I mean seriously, Allie. Do you know anything. Are you stupid? What are you planning on doing?"

"Now you're insulting me?"

"No, Allie. I'm asking you questions because you're doing a very stupid thing."

RING! RING! RING!

Allie stood up. "We have class Nick."

"No, you are going to explain this to me."

"Nick, no. I have to get to class!" She yelled then ran up the hill.

She went into the school, looked back and saw that Nick was near her.

She walked to her locker then went to Chemistry.

She sat in the back and started writing down the notes the teacher had written on the board.

Just moments later, Nick walked in.

"Oh please, don't let this be his class too." She thought.

He walked to the back of the class and sat beside. "Tell me." He demanded.

"Nick, would you please sit somewhere else."

"No, not until you tell me what you're thinking, why the fuck you're going out with him."

"Class.! The teacher said. "Start writing these notes quietly."

Everyone in the class stopped talking and started writing the notes that were on the board.

RING! RING! RING!

"Sorry, I'm late." Mark said while walking to the back of the class and sitting on the other side of Allie.

Nick's face went blank.

"Hey baby." Mark said while putting his hand on Allie's leg and moving his desk closer to hers.

Nick's heart began to race and his fists got tighter.

He looked over and saw that Mark was slidding his hands to "far" up her leg. She was pushing his hand away and telling him to cut it out.

He started grabbing at her breasts next. Nick could feel the rage building up in him. Allie pushed his hand away and told him to stop again. Of course he didn't.

"Come on, Allie. Here." He said while taking her hand and sitting it on his lap so she could feel him.

She tried pulling away but he held her hand down.

"Mark, stop. Let go."

Suddenly, Nick stood up and jumped across Allie's desk and takled Mark out of his set and got on top of him and started punching him.
