"Allie! Wait!"

Allie didn't listen. She just kept running.

"Allie, Stop!" Nick yelled.

She wasn't watching where she was going. She was about to cross the street. A lot of cars where going by.

Nick ran faster. He grabbed her hand right before she was about to step on the road. He pulled her back into his arms and held onto her tight and moved away from the street.

"No.." Allie struggled to get away.

"Allie, stop it. Please. Let me explain."

"No!"

Tears were running down her face. She wouldn't even look at him. "Let me go!"

Allie slapped him and hit him and pushed him. She pit his hand. He let go and she ran from him the other way.

Nick rubbed his hand then started running after her again. "Allie.."

Allie ran faster and faster. After awhile, she started getting tired. She stopped and looked behind her. Nick was still following her but really far behind. So she started running again.

She was on a street she had never been on before. She was lost and didn't know where she was. Her only hope to get home was Nick. She stopped running again and looked behind her. She didn't see Nick. She turned all the way around and waited for him to appear.. but he didn't.

"Nick!" She called out.

She looked around. It looked like a scary street. She looked at every house. Glanced at all the porches. She stop suddenly at one house. She saw someone sitting on their porch looking at her.

'Oh no.' Allie thought.

She backed away heading the way she came. She wanted to, but couldn't take her eyes off of him, scared that he would follow her. He stood up and walked down off of his porch then stopped and stood in his yard.

She finally got the nerve to look away from him so she could walk faster. She got scared and looked around. He had started following her. She knew exactly who it was. She started walking faster and breathing harder, scared about what might happen to her.

She looked around and he had gotten closer to her. She started running again. She just wanted to see Nick. She knew that she would feel safe if she was near him. But she still couldn't believe that he was kissing another girl and his pants were half way down. Just because her parents told him that they didn't want him seeing her anymore. She hated this.

She could here his foot steps getting closer to her. She felt like crying more now than ever.

She finally made it off the street. She couldn't see Nick anymore. He had given up. Allie just wanted to get home. Even though she knew that she would be in deep trouble. Of course her parents would think she was with Nick.

She was on a street she had been on before. She felt a bit of releaf. She looked around, he wasn't following her anymore.

She stopped running and turned back around. She walked as fast as she could, just trying to get home.

In no time, she found herself walking down her street. She made it half way down it then suddenly heard something moving threw a tall bush really close to her. Her heart started racing.

It had gotten darker, which made this walk home more scarier.

She suddenly saw a shadow come out of the bush. She gasped and started moving away quickly.

"Wait.."

Allie felt a hand gently grab her wrist. She jumped and started hitting him.

"Allie, stop it's me."

She stopped hitting him and realized it was Nick. She was so mad at him and slapped him across the face.

"I hate you." Allie cried out.

"Allie.."

"No, I don't want to see you ever again, Nick. I hate you." She started walking away from him.

"Allie please don't do this. Let me explain.. please Allie." He grabbed her again.

Allie turned around and jerked away from his touch. Even though it was very gentle.

"Fine. Explain to me. Explain why I saw you kissing that girl. Explain to me why I saw your pants half way down. Explain to me why I hate you so much right now for messing this up. Explain that to me, Nick." She yelled with few tears raceing down her face.

"Not here. Not like this, Allie. Promise me, you'll come some where with me, then I'll explain." Nick said in the sweetest voice he could make.

"Nick, if you can't explain it right here right now, then I don't want you to explain it to me at all. It's not worth it. Your not worth it."

"Is that what you really feel?" Nick continued. "That I'm not worth it. That our relationship isn't worth fighting for, Allie?"

"What relationship? You ruined it, Nick. You ruined everything. Ruined it for both of us."

"That's why I'm willing to fix it. I want to explain, just come with me. Please, Allie."

"No."

Nick stood there and stared at her. "So, what you're just going to throw this away? You're not even going to try?"

Allie nodded her head while a tear ran down her face.

"Allie." Nick said in a worried voice. "Please, don't do this."

"Good bye Nick." She said while walking away from him to her house.

Nick couldn't believe this. This couldn't be happening to him. This couldn't be the end.

"No." He went after her and held her close to him, he got down on his knees and put his arms around her waist. "Allie, no. Please. I love you."

"Nick, stop."

Allie pushed him away from her then walked to her door. She opened it, before she walked in, she looked behind her. Nick was on the ground watching her.

Nick watched her. He saw one last tear run down he face. Then she walked in and shut the door. Nick stood up and looked at her house for while. He looked up at the windows and waited for a light to come on, so he could figure out which window might be Allie's.

Suddenly, he see's a light come on. He turns around and leave's her street. He walks to his house. His door was still open. He walked in and closed it. He looked around. He felt like crying. But he didn't. He went upstairs and layed in his bed and looked at is ceiling.

All of this was Megan's fault. He couldn't believe that he once liked her. Right now, he couldn't hate her more.

Soon school would start again, he had to get Allie to forgive him before that. That was his goal.. to get Allie to forgive him and love him.. again.

He fell asleep a few minutes later.

Allie couldn't sleep, she kept thinking about how Nick could do this to her, he couldn't even explain this to her when she asked him to. He needed to go some where else to talk about it. Maybe so he could just think of a lie.

Allie hated him so much. He had hurt her. She cried half the night. She had gotten scared. Having someone follow her. The day was bad enough, Mark just had to show up and scare the crap out of her and follow her.

Thank god he didn't do anything to her.

'Should I have told Nick, about Mark following me?' Allie asked herself.
'No, it's good that I didn't tell him. He doesn't need to know. He doesn't deserve to know.'

Allie fell asleep a few hours later, worried about what would become of her tomorrow.

The Next Day

Allie woke up at 9:00. She hadn't felt so bad in the longest time. She felt like crying out of no where because she missed Nick. Oh but how she hated him right now.

She got out of bed and went down stairs. Her mom and dad were still sleeping. They probably didn't sleep the whole time she was out with Nick. She ran back up stairs and took a quick shower. She got dressed then went back down stairs, her parents were still asleep.

She went to the front door and quietly opened it, she slipped out the door and shut it back as quietly as she could. The sun was shinning so bright. It reminded her of when Nick and her were in the tent, and the sun was coming up.

She just shook her head and shrugged the memory into her past.

She walked down her street then crossed the road to go to the stairs down to the beach. When she got half way down the steps. She saw someone sitting in the sand. She walked down a little farther then stopped.

It was Nick. She stood there for awhile. She didn't know what to do. So she just sat down on one of the steps and watched him sit there, looking at the sun.

She sat there watching him for over 30 minutes. Then Nick stood up and turned around. He was about to walk towards the steps but stopped. He just stared at Allie.

Allie just sat there with her hands in her lap, looking at him.. hoping he wouldn't talk to her. Of course, that wasn't going to happen. He started walking towards her. He reached the stairs then stopped and looked up at her.

Allie stood up quickly and walked up the stairs as fast as she could.

"Allie, wait." Nick yelled.

Allie kept going.

Nick just stood there, knowing that it was no use chaseing after her, she would just yell at him and slap him, tell him that she hates him. He hated when she yelled those words at his face.

He walked up the stairs slowly. When he got to the top of them, he looked down Allie's street. He saw Allie walking slowly. Looking behind herself over and over.

Nick smiled. 'She wants me to follow her.' He thought. 'Or is she making sure I don't follow her?'

He stopped smiling and went to his house.

Allie looked behind herself again to make sure that Nick wasn't following her. She turned back around and tears filled her eyes.

One Month Later

One month had past. Nick and Allie had went there seperate ways. Nick eventually became depressed and Megan some how got him to go out with her.

Allie had locked herself up and went back to trusting no one.

School was only 1 day away. Allie dreaded the moment. She didn't want to go back to school. It would be her worst nightmare.

Nick couldn't care less about school. It was a way to get closer to friends.

At The Beach

"Nick!" Jordan yelled.

Nick jumped up high in the air and hit the vollyball over the net and scored a point. Megan was on his team. She ran towards him and jumped into his arms. Nick smiled and laughed then kissed her and spent around in circles.

He put her down. "Aye, guys.. we're out."

"Nick, ahh come on. the game just started!" One of his friends, Adam, yelled.

Nick just smiled and held Megan's hand and walkd away from them close to the water.

They both sat down in the sand. Megan layed down in the sand. Nick got over top of her and started making out with her. He stopped for a second to look at her. She was smiling and he smiled back. Right when he was about to kiss her again, Allie popped into his head. The day they had made love. This was exactally how it was. He was over top of her kissing her.

Nick shook his head to try and get the memory away.

"What's wrong, Nickie."

"Nothing, I'm okay." He started kissing her again.

Under the Shade

"Allie, can you believe that school is tomorrow?" Tiffany asked her.

"No, it seems like our summer just began yesterday. It sucks that we have to go back tomorrow." Allie answered.

"You know that Nick guy you told us about?" Katie asked.

"Yea." Allie said, wishing she didn't ask it.

"Do you ever talk to him anymore?"  Lily blurted out.

All the girls looked at her then looked at Allie.

"Umm, no.. I don't. Why?"

"Well.." Tiffany started.

"We want to know what he looks like." Katie said.

They all looked at her again then back at Allie.

"You guys.." Allie smiled.

"Allie come one." They all say.

"We just want to know what he looks like. I mean you told us he was the sweetest guy you've ever met. We just want to know if his looks fit with it." Lily said.

"Well, he has a girl friend right now, so he might be with her." I forgot what she looks like though. But if you see him with a girl, then that's most likely her."

"Do you still love him?" Katie asked.

They all looked at Allie, curious to hear her answer.

Allie waited awhile to say anything. She looked over to her right, past the vollyball court at Nick and Megan making out. She knew exactly where they were.

"No. I don't." She lied. Of course she still loved him. But it was her little secret. She just hated what he had done to her.

They all stared at her.

"After what you guys did, what you two went threw, you have no feelings for him left?" Katie asked again.

"No."

"You guys, I'm going to head home. It's getting late and we all have to get up early for school. See you guys later." Lily said while getting up and grabbing her things and leaving.

"Yea, I should be heading home too." Tiffany said while leaving.

"Are you leaving too?" Allie asked Katie.

"Yea, moms going to freak if I stay out to late on a school night." I'll see you tomorrow Allie."

Allie stood up and hugged her. "Bye." She sat back down. Half the people at the beach had left. The only people that were still there were her, Nick, Megan, and some of Nick's friends still playing vollyball.

"Nick!" Adam and Jordan yelled. "Aye we're leaving.

"All of you guys are?" He yelled back.

"Yea. We'll see you tomorrow." Adam yelled. They took the vollyball with them then left.

Now the only people left on the beach were Allie, Nick, and Megan.

Nick and Megan were sitting in the sand talking. Allie was watching them.

"Nickie, I should be heading home. It's getting late." Megan said while standing up.

Nick stood up too. "Ahh, stay a little longer, please. For me." Nick said while holding her hands.

"I'm sorry, but we have school tomorrow. I'll see you then." Megan leaned in and kissed him then walked away.

Nick watched her walk away until she disappeared from his sight.

He looked around himself and didn't see anybody. He was alone.. he thought.

He started walking towards the steps while looking at the ground. He looked up over at some chairs in the shade. He saw Allie. He didn't look away. Once again, he wasn't watching where he was going, tripped and fell.

Allie giggled and just watched him. Nick stood up really fast and whiped himself off. He saw Allie smiling.

Nick stood there for while staring at her. Then finally got the guts to walk over to her.
