Nick couldn't sleep all threw the night for fear that Mark would come back. Even when he dozed off for just a one minute, he always thought he heard something. Then he would look at Allie and get closer and it made him feel better.

A few hours had past and Nick noticed that a little light was shining threw a part of the tent. He moved over to the zipper that opened the tent and unzipped it. He peeked out and the sun was coming up. He sqwinted his eyes but it was a wonderful view. He went out of the tent and looked up at the sky. He looked around, it was silent and peaceful.

Then suddenly he saw a peace of clothing stuck to a small bush. He ran over to it and it was Allie's panties. Then on the ground beside the bush, was her pants.

He grabbed both of them and shook the sand off of them and looked around for her shirt. But it was no where in his sight.

He hurried back to the tent and went inside.

He looked at Allie and she was still asleep, her breathing was at a steady pace. Nick focused on her for just a few seconds then thought about trying to wake her so she could put her clothes on.

He scooted closer to her and layed down beside her and held his head up with his hand and his elbow against the ground. He took his other hand and gently rubbed his thumb on her cheek. She moved only a little. He kept doing this until her eyes opened.

He smiled to let her know that everything was fine, and that she was safe.

"He put her clothes in her view so she could see them. She sat up and Nicks shirt feel off her chest and her breast were showed to Nick. He blushed and so did Allie. She quickly picked it up and covered herself.

"Here, I found your pants and your.. uhh underwear."

Allie giggled then took them from him.

Nick smiled then said, "I couldn't find your shirt, so I guess mine will have to do."

He made his way out of the tent and before no time, Allie didn't have her pants on. She had her panties on though. She also had Nicks shirt on. It was long enough to cover her underwear so Nick couldn't see them. She only had it buttoned up to her belly button.

Nick peeked into the tent and ask, "Are you dressed?"

Allie laughed and said, "Yes."

Nick went back into the tent and sat beside her.

"Where are we?" She whispered.

"In the tent, still at the beach." Nick said in the lowest and gentlest voice he could make. "You have to see the sun raising outside, it's beautiful." He added.

Nick made his way out of the tent again. He felt the sand under his feet, it was as soft as ever. He opened the flap a little so Allie could get out easier. He held his hand out for her to grab. She held onto it and he pulled her out.

She sqwinted her eyes when she looked out to the water. Half of the sun was beaming off of it. She shoved her face to Nick's chest to keep the brightness away from her eyes. Nick smiled and held her tighter.

"Come on" Nick said while holding her hand and walking towards the water.

"Nick." Allie giggled.

"It's starting to get hot, lets get in the water."

Allie pulled her hand away from his. He looked back at her. "What's wrong?"

"Nick, have you forgotten what happened last night? I need to go home. I've been gone all night, my parents are going to be really mad if I'm gone any longer."

"Allie, no please, just stay. Please. We can just spend today together. Just us and nobody else. That's all I want. Then I'll take you back home, before it gets dark again..."

"Nick.." Allie started.

"Please. Just the whole day." He inturrupted.

Allie looked at him for a few seconds. "I don't know, Nick."

"Please." He had the sadest face expression on. He really want her to stay.

Allie smiled a little and said, "Fine, I'll stay."

Nick hugged her then grabbed her hand again and started walking towards the water.

"Nick, no." Allie laughed.

Nick started laughing and running to the water. Allie ran with him. He slowed down when he reached it and so did Allie.

He looked down at Allie and kissed her. Allie kissed him back and before she got to pull away, Nick picked her up and started kissing her more. Allie put her legs around his waist and placed her hands on his chest. Nick put his hand on her back and started walking threw the water.

"The water's really cold." Nick said while walking into it deeper.

"Well that just makes this so much more fun." Allie laughed.

Nick started walking out faster so Allie could feel how cold it was.

He got out far enough until it reached Allie's thighs. She sqwilled and tried to get away from it put he kept walking out.

"Nick, Oh my god, it's freakin cold." She yelled while laughing.

Nick laughed and kept walking out until the water was up to his chest.

"Nick! It's really cold." She said while shivering trying to pull her way back to shore. Nick just held her closer to him so she couldn't get away.

"Allie, slow down. Come on, it'll get warmer. We just have to stay out here for awhile."

She calmed down and placed her forehead on his and relaxed herself.

"See? I'm warm already." Nick said.

"I'm still cold." She shivered.

Nick held her closer to him to keep her warm. He kissed her then he felt her body relax in his arms. He started kissing lower until he got her neck. But this time, she didn't pull away. Nick stopped kissing her and looked at her.

"Wait a minute." He started.

Allie smiled.

"Somethings different about what I just did."

Allie smiled more. "Nick."

Nick smiled and pulled her closer and hugged her.

Then he started kissing her neck again. Allie put her head back so it would make it easier for him. He started kissing lower and lower until he came to the top of her cleviage. He stopped and looked at her. She looked at him wondered why he stopped.

"Allie." Nick started. "I feel like.. all of this is going to fast. I just, I don't know. A part of me is saying, just be with her, and be happy about it, but the other part of me, is saying slow down, don't scare her away. I don't know what part to listen to. I feel like I'm listening to both though. I'm going fast and then I'm being happy about it. It's so confusing. I don't know, maybe we should just go back to shore."

"Nick. I don't feel like this is going to fast. I feel like, it's going the right speed. It's perfect right now. Maybe not last night. That was a total nightmare." Allie said.

"I know. I keep thinkin', ya know, Mark knows that we like each other.. so much. He knows how much I care about you. I don't think he's going to stop trying to hurt you. And it's making me have some second thought about things."

Allie gave him a weird look.

"About us." He finished.

"What?" Allie said while pulling away from him and swimming on her own in the water.

"No, Allie. I just, I would hate myself, forever if I let anything happen to you because of him. I wouldn't be able to live with myself."

"Nick, what are you talking about? You're being so confusing." She said while going back to shore.

"Allie." Nick said while following her.

She reached the dry sand and turned around. "So, what.. you don't think I can handle myself, that I'm nothing but weak?"

"Allie.."

"No, Nick. Seriously, what is it about me that you think I can't handle when someone attacks me? Seriously!" Allie yelled.

"Nothing, Allie! Nothing ok. I don't want him to hurt you. And it's not because I'm scared to fight him or because I'm scared that you'll hurt yourself if you try to fight him back. It's because I'm so fucking in love with you. I don't want to lose you but if this shit keeps happening, I might have to." He yelled back.

Allie didn't say anything. She just stared at him for a few minutes.

"Allie." Nick said in a sad voice, feeling awful that he just yelled and cursed at her.

She sat down in the sand and crossed her arms and looked out at the water.

"I'm sorry, Allie." He said while sitting down besid her. "I just want you to understand, that he knows I care about you, and he might do anything to hurt you."

She looked down at the sand for a few seconds then looked at Nick. "You love me?"

Nick looked at her and smiled.
