I kept driving. I had to get home. The rain was hammering down. Just like my tears. Everything that could go wrong had gone wrong. I'm not even eighteen. But... I could lose the best thing that ever happened to me. I take pain everywhere I go.

I got home after a long time. I lost count after the first hour. Mom and Dad were crying. "What's up?" I asked. They just stood up and left. I ran up to Chad's room.
