That Asheline Hale supervisor has been checking up on me and Lyric for a cople of weeks. Lyric hasn't been eating lately.

"So, howare you today?" asked Asheline Hale, (as if she cared). If she cared, she would've help me find a job instead of living off a welfare check in some run down apartment living off poptarts.

"Ms. Hale. Please, you have to take Lyric."

"Why?"

"I'm just a kid. I can't have another one to care for. Seriously. Take her." 

Ever since has never been the same. I'm sure her new family is fine to her. No way she could've grown up like this. I will never amount to anything. But if it helps I will continue school. And forget about her. My Lyric. My family. My pain.
