Vaan

 

 Sitting up Vaan blinked the tiredness away from his eyes, trying to forget the dream he had just had. It was just before dawn, so it was still as dark out as it had been when he went to sleep. He jolted with surprise when he heard the sounds of soft breathing from over by the fireplace. He had almost forgotten about the girl completely.

 Slowly Vaan got out of bed and walked softly over to where the girl , Allyson, slept. She slept peacefully despite her being who knows how far from home. How does she do it? H thought to himself, thinking about how strange it was be to find ones-self in another world. He knew how it felt, for he was a stranger in this land too, though he was not of another world. He actually began to feel sorry for the girl. Staring down at her as he leaned over her sleeping shape, he was moved. I’ll get you home, He thought, I promise.

 Leaving the sleeping girl, acting upon his newly made promise; he began drawing up a plan. He had decided to take the girl to Sapienta, the nearest town, and from there they would seek out a wise man named Isaac. Isaac will know what to do. Thought Vaan.

 That was his plan, and from there he began to pack up all the things they would need for their journey. This is going to be a long trip, thought Vaan, I can tell that much all ready.
