The New Breed Part 9

The first ever twins, so ever alike

One will be of the day, another of the night

Their destiny be soon revealed

As their world comes falling down

When their 13th birthday comes around

As they discover the ones they shall face

They conquer them with style and grace

And once the brutal war as come to and end

The New Breed will rise once again

And then the vampire queens shall rule forevermore.

Kraven read the prophesy so clear it was like someone was narrating it. Midnight could see her and her sister fighting of demons and vampires who rebeled against them. Kraven seemed know everything. With his crystal blue eyes and black and crimson striped hair. He wasn't your average vampire, Midnight could tell. Midnight looked deep into Kraven's eyes. But there seemed to be something blocking her way into his soul.

"So you are a soul reading vampire eh Midnight?" It was like Kraven could hear her thoughts and knew her intentions.

"No I'm not a vampire, Moonrise is the vampire." Midnight told Kraven

"Well then how can you soul read? There are only a select few who can do that. Also very few who can block it, like myself"

"I don't know how I can do that actually. I've always been able to do that."

Moonrise interupted,"I'm sorry to break up this conversation but can we please discuss the prophesy? I don't have all day."

"Certainly. Basically what the prophesy means is that you two will conquer those who despise the New Breed and take charge of the vampire world, just like your ancestors did before you."

"What is the New Breed and what ancestors do you speak of?" The girls questioned in unison. "And how are we the ones the prophesy speaks of?"

"Well for starters, the New Breed was a very odd breed of vampires. Unlike the traditional breed, they could control all the elements at their fingertips. They could conjor fire and water out of no where and create air and earth with their spirits. They could also control people and make them their slaves. The other vampires were jealous of this tremendous power and decided to try to overthrow this New Breed. When they succeeded is when the famous Dracula started spreading those bogus rumors about all that garlic and darkness thing. He was ALWAYS the dreamer." Kraven explained.

"Wow. This New Breed seems very powerful. So why do we need to bring them back? And why us?" Midnight asked Kraven. Kraven ran his fingers through his hair. He seemed very deep in thought. Then he shot up out of his chair and ran out of the room, like he was was searching for something. Midnight contacted Moonrise through the "connection".

"This book is all about your family history. See you two are the desendents of the very first EVER vampires. That's why you to have such unique names. Those destined to rule have names of the night, just like you. That's why you two are the ones the prophesy speaks of. Because there hasn't been names like your since the New Breed society collasped three hundred years ago!"
