"Why not? What is there to lose?" Midnight questioned her sister.
"No, I refused to turn you into a vampire. Your life will never be the same. I long for the days when I was mortal."
"What's so bad that you won't turn me into a vampire? You can walk in daylight, garlic doesn't effect you, what is there to lose?"
"Midnight, could you stand living forever? Feeding off of innocent people?"
"I hate being mortal. If I was a vampire like you, I could strike fear into the heart of my enemies. I would be happier!!!"
"Midnight this conversation is over about you becoming a vampire. We've just found each other!"
"Ok Moonrise, I' gonna go ask the 'rents more about the prophesy, you need to get over here now."
"Ok open the window and I'll meet you downstairs. I'll shut it when I get in."
Midnight shook herself out of the conversation she just had with her twin Moonrise. She had been trying to get Moonrise to change her into a vampire for three days, but she keeps refusing. Midnight flung open the window and turned toward the door.
Midnight looked in every room for her parents, upstairs and down. Midnight didn't see any trace of them anywhere in the house. Just as Midnight flopped on the couch she heard Moonrise running down the stairs. She was dressed just as a vampire would, black cargo pants with a black and purple swirled t-shirt.
Her long black and purple hair flowing down her shoulders. Midnigh longed to look as good as her sister did. Why did it have to be Moonrise that had to be the vampire? Midnight was only five minutes younger!
"Where are mom and dad? I thought you said we were going to talk to them?" Moonrise asked Midnight.
"I don't know I just searched the whole house and didn't find a trace of them anywhere. The car is still here too."
Moonrise wandered into the kitchen when somethng caught her eye. She walked over to the table and screamed" MIDNIGHT GET IN HERE! MOM AND DAD HAVE BEEN KIDNAPPED!!!!!!"
Midnight ran into the kitchen to find Moonrise on the floor, clutching the peice of paper in her hands. Midnight walked over to Moonrise and took the paper from her hands and read it out loud-
"Dear Midnight and Moonrise,
So you've finally found each other! Congrats! I'm sorry to inform you I had to break up this little love fest. Yes I've taken both of your parents. Rest assured, your parents are safe with me. I cannot let you fulfill the prophesy. The risks are just to high for me to let you jeopardize me and my people. If you want your parents back, give up your quest to fulfill the prophesy.

"Moonrise get up! Do you know anyone that would do this to us?"
"No I haven't a clue. But Midnight, your not safe here anymore. I don't want to be responsable for your disapperence too. You'll have to come live with me until we can find out what to do about our parents. Now please go get your stuff ready."
"Ok." Midnight took off up the stairs into her room. She flung open her closet and threw all of her vampirish clothes on the bed. Grabbing her suitcase from underneath her bed, she started to worry about moving in with Moonrise. Would her people except her? She pushed all of those worries aside as she galloped down the stairs.
"So how are we getting to your place Moonrise?"
"Well, I guess we're flying."
"FLYING? You've got to be kidding me! I can't fly!"
"That's why you're gonna use my hover board. Vampires can fly without them I just like to bring them if I get tired."
Moonrise pulled out her hover board and handed it to Midnight. Midnight put the board on the ground and Moonrise programmed it so she didn't have to do anything except stand on it. With everything beening set and Midnight's bag strapped down, they took off.
