Dear Diary--

 It's amazing how John doesn't know how much I like him. I heard that writing in a diary can help people try to discover what's wrong with themselves inside so I'm here for your help.

I can't say I love him because I don't exactly know what love is yet. I can't say I like him because it seems like just more than that. I've never really had this feeling before. He seems different much more outspoken and loveable. But maybe it's just me. I can really seem to follow my heart these days neither. But he's taught me to do that. That's what I love about him or should I say like? Well, you're the only one who's going to be seeing this, so I'll say love.

He's so darn confusing, I can't seem to understand him. Most of my friends, don't really like him and think he judges people without getting to know him. But we talked about it and said our sorry's. I talk to him every night before I go to bed and try to think of things to say to him the next night. I told him I like him but he has no idea. He told me that he's in between me and my best friend which in a way is a celebration but yet funeral. He doesn't like me as much as I like him. He doesn't understand what I feel. You're not really solving much of my problems, Diary.

The worst problem is that he lives 1004 miles away. Trust me, I looked on MapQuest. When he calls, I get the biggest grin on my face and can't wait to hear his southern accent. My friends say I'm obsessed but I could object. If only you could talk, Diary. You could tell me the answers.

You're probably wondering how I met him if he lives 1004 miles away. Well, he's one of my best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother. If that made any sense to you. I don't really believe in long distant relationship but I never really believed in love at first sight neither. But, when I talked to him the first time, I knew, I liked him.

My youth pastor said make sure that the person you like is Christian because if not, you can easily be pulled away from God. I know he's Christian. He tells me a verse from the Bible everyday, but the problem is, I seem to be having trouble to remember to pray and trust God. He told me to always put God first. I've never really had anyone tell me that besides like my parents and the church. He tells me that if I'm having a bad day, don't be afraid to call him up and let it all out.

My friends all say we would be the cutest couple and it would work. But I don't know if I can commit to something that is 1004 miles away.
