The Other Side Of Me (Double Life)

Romance Created on 7-1-08 Views(16) Story Rating G

Camilla looked into her bathroom mirror, utterly disgusted. She thought of all the pretty, popular cheerleaders at her school, and how much she longed to be just like them. Camilla turned the sink faucet, and splashed the cool running water on to her face. She flickered her eyelids shut and pondered over the many factors of her life...Now that she shared a college dorm room with her long-term boyfriend, Ryan. Camilla smiled, she must have been so lost in her thoughts that she didn't realize her best friend, Whitney's soft knock on the bathroom door. 'Hey Cammy' Whitney giggled into Camilla's ear, or Cammy as her friends' tended to call her. Camilla's eyes twinkled at the sight of her best friend, she pulled Whitney close for a hug. 'Back from Spain so soon Whit? Was it fun? Tell me all about it!!!' Camilla babbled on excitedly, as she pulled Whitney towards the couch and sat her down. They chatted and hugged for a few minutes, just glad to be back so soon with each other, just then Ryan walked through the door, waved to Whitney, and gave Camilla a swift peck on the lips. The three teenagers sat down together as Whitney began the long, thrilling story of her adventures around Spain. When she had finished, Camilla smiled and exclaimed teasingly 'Wow it sounds as though you had a lot of fun without us!' She stuck out her tongue playfully. Whitney grinned and shook her head, holding Camilla close 'It's never too much fun without you!'. Camilla, Whitney and Ryan smiled, the girls pulled away, and they sat there at a loss for words for just a few moments.
