Till Death Do Us Part

Horror Created on 1-8-08 Views(42) Story Rating G

"Are you sure you're going to be alright?" My mother called to me out the window of our SUV, as I stepped out into the deadly cold December breeze. "I'll be fine." I attempt to comfort my mother, she was always concerned around this time of year. I grabbed my duffel bag from the backseat of the car and headed up the stone steps to the front entrance of Camp BeachWood. I knocked twice before Marie the camp maid opened the door quietly. She smiled when she saw me standing in front of her. It had only been a year, Marie and I had been good friends since two years ago when I first started at Camp BeachWood Sleep Away for Girls. Marie beckoned for me to come inside and make myself at home. Two other campers were already seated by the fire, waiting for their cabin assignments. I recognized the firsts of them instantly, her name was Charlotte, she was one of the friendlier girls I had met in my first year. I have been friends with her ever since. The other girl, however, did not look the least bit familiar. She must have been a new camper. I smiled at Charlotte, as I hurried over to sit beside her. "That's Missy, she's a new camper, and erm, a bit strange..." Charlotte whispered seriously in my ear. I stifled a giggle. The head mistress of the camp's voice suddenly boomed over the intercom "Angie, Charlotte, and Missy will be staying in Cabin A. Jessica, Trixie, and Rachel will be staying in Cabin B. Samantha, Sara, and Hannah will be staying in Cabin C. Vanessa, Laura and Brianna will be staying in Cabin D. This year Cabin E is restricted to camp staff only. Thank you and enjoy your stay at Camp BeachWood." Charlotte groaned "It least we get to share a cabin, it's just too bad she has to share it with us" she pointed at Missy. I nodded "well we better get our stuff and go get settled" Charlotte and I swung our heavy duffel bags on to our shoulders and headed for our Cabin. We glanced behind us to see that Missy was staring intently at us. "She's creeping me out." I whispered to Charlotte. "Me too" came Charlotte's reply. I turned the key in the entrance to our, and the dooro creaked before opening. We stepped inside, relieved to get out of the cold. Missy grimaced and yelped from behind us. This time Charlotte had gone to far..."What's wrong drama queen?" She laughed at Missy, who was bent over obviously in pain. I rushed out to the injured girl, grabbed her suitcase and heaved it up the steps into the cabin. Only after that, did I return to help Missy into the cabin as well. "Uhm...thanks." She murmured, "But I could have handled that." At her remark a shot of light sparked from her eyes, hitting her injured arm "There all better, see?" I stared, shocked, and a bit scared at her. "You're a witch!?!" Charlotte barked in her face. Missy hesitated before nodding in agreement. "That I am." Missy smiled, clearly embarrased. "Have you ever killed anybody?" Charlotte questioned Missy "That I ha--" Missy was cut off almost immeediately by Angie's remark "Of course she hasn't" I grinned. Missy looked hesitant once more "I HAVE!" Missy roared. "OMG IM SCARED NOW!" Charlotte exaggerated. The girls climbed into thier cots, all except for Missy. "Aren't you going to bed, it's late?" I stuttered. "I have some un-finished business to take care of first, my friends" Missy replied quickly. As Charlotte and Angie dove off to sleep, Missy crept up with a knife "Till death do us part good friends" and Missy plunged the knife deep into Charlotte's heart before doing the same to Angie. As blood soaked the cots, Missy set off running as far and as fast as she could, trying to escape, before she was found out. Missy whispered one word "Spirtiouso" her figure became pale and distant. Then two figures joined her, they were the figures of Charlotte and Angie. "See what I meant, till death do us part?" There was an abrupt fit of laughter. As all three girls vanished into thin air. They were never heard from again.
