Daddy's Girl 11

I started at Charlie, wondering what was going on. The night at my house he had seemed like my savior...The good looking doctor that wanted to save me from my father. But this man here...Was another thing entirely.

He gave me a final pearly white smile, then placed a hand on Rose's shoulder, then made his way with her out of the room.

My heart started its fast beating again as I heard the door lock. I was trapped.

Suddenly all the worst possibilities came flying through my mind, sending me to shiver as I imagined everything from him being some perverted sex fiend, to a physco man who murdered girls for pleasure.

I sat up in the green bed and finally observed the room to its full extent. There was a coldness about it. A fake mist covering everything in there. I guess if it weren't for the locks on the window, the thin layer of dust covering the dresser, lamp, and everything else in the room, and the uncomfortable part about knowing I was being locked in here by a  possible rapist...It'd be a decent room.

As I further observed the room, my head shot back to the dresser. Maybe my old clothes were in there..I looked towards the door, then as silently as possible, slid out from under the green sheets.

As I tip toed across the room I noticed the there was a note, tacked into the yellow wall paper....It just so happened that the tack was green. What time he must have taken to complete this yellow and green room.

I diverted my attention completely away from the dresser and walked towards the paper.

Keira, I'm glad to see that you are awake and well enough to be reading this letter. Thinking over the first time we met, I doubt I made the best impression. I'd truly like to fix that. I'm a very considerate and nice man once you get to know me. Of course I wouldn't have saved you from your father if I wasn't. I assume you remember my son, Richard? Yes, well, it didn't seem you got enough time to talk before, but of course I have to be careful when you do talk to him. He can be much like your father, and I certainly wouldn't want him letting you free from here, because the outside world certainly is a dangerous place. You'll meet the other girls shortly later on, that is after you get used to your room.
