The Unexpected
(Part 13)
Recap:
Derek took you to the house, kissed you, asked you if you were going to be okay, you nodded, you guys made out, he asked you again, and you nodded, and he kissed you once more before leaving but then he told you to be ready tomorrow night at 8 and you asked why and he grinned and simply said it was a surprise before he drove off and you went inside.
Ever had one of those days when you wake up happy and you have no idea why but then you flashback to the events and you smile knowing why? Well…This was one of those days. You had a sudden smile on your face and a feeling that today would be a great day.
You woke up to your phone vibrating next to you and a text message saying;
Wake Up, Sleepyhead.
Breakfast Is Downstairs.
It’s On Me =)
Be Ready Tonight @ 8
You stared at it for a couple of minutes until Chris walked in, looking really sleepily with his hair all rustled around, probably from moving too much in bed.
“Hey Roxy?” he said, ruffling his hair.
“Yeah?” you said putting your phone on your side table.
“There’s breakfast done for you and me. I kind of already finished mine but yours is still there.” He said to you with a half smile.
“Who made it?” you asked him now suspicious.
“I don’t know, um… I’m gonna take a shower and meet up with Valerie. Bye!” he screamed out really fast before running out.
You just smiled at his childishness and went downstairs to eat the breakfast the mysterious person got for you. Then you took a shower, said good bye to Chris on his way out, watched television, got text messages hinting what and who it was planning the eight o’ clock special tonight but you still had no clue who or what it was! But nonetheless, you got ready and put this dress on;

You were ready ten minutes before eight so you just sat down to wait and wondered about whom it was that would be taking you out. It didn’t take long for you to wonder because you heard the door knock and went to answer it when you found…..
DEREK!
With flowers!
He saw you and smiled and you smiled back hugging him.
“You look beautiful.” He says giving you your flowers
“Thank you, so do you.” You said as you saw you took in his tuxedo and tie and boy, did he look freaking hot!
You told him to give you a second to put the flowers in water before leaving and then you guys were heading out of your house. He opened your door and you realized he was a true gentleman and you smiled as he got in the drivers seat.
“So what’s the occasion?” you ask him
He grinned and looked at you “Just because I want to.” He said before leaning across and giving you a peck on the lips.
You tried to figure out where he was taking you but you seriously had no clue and then he broke your thoughts by telling you, you guys were here.
He opened your door and you saw where he took you. It was amazing. It was literally like nothing you’ve ever seen.
It was a restaurant that had really dim light but it had a glass ceiling and you could see the stars so good, it was so breathtaking and you were still looking at the stars when they seated you.
“What do you think?” he asked smiling.
You bit your lip and he waited impatiently for your answer.
You were speechless.
“Wow, that bad huh?” he said nervously brushing his hand on the back of his neck.
“No! It’s amazing, I was just speechless, I love it!” you said grinning and he smiled when he looked at you and then he grabbed your hands across the table.
“I’m glad you do.” He said smiling as the waiter came and you guys took your orders.
“So how’d did you get here?” you asked him curiously
“Well I did drive my car here if you didn’t notice…” he said pointing outside to where his car would be.
“No. Not here, here. I mean New York. How’d you get here, or were you raised here?” you asked.
“I was raised here. But in a different city, my parents travel way too much and my dad got a promotion so we had to move to this side of New York.” He said and looked at you as if checking to see if you were here.
“I was mad at first,” he continued “Because I had my friends and I had to leave them there but then I saw motor cross and I completely fell in love with it. I had to save up for one for 2 years and got one, my parents weren’t exactly happy with it but it made me so happy and it was my world away from here so they put up with it. After 3 more years they knew I wasn’t going to stop riding so they bought me a new bike, I guess they wanted to pay me back somehow for not being in my life as much as they used to.” He finished.
And you kind of got sad.
“What about you, what about your parents?” he said and then the food came and you decided to change the subject and started eating.
“Mhhm… this is great.” You said smiling.
He chuckled as you guys ate. Then he told you more about his life and you told about your childhood in your hometown life but you left out your parents and motor cross which was kind of hard considering motor cross was your life, but Derek didn’t know that.
You guys finished eating and he took you to the lake nearby and he looked at you.
“Roxy? I think I really, really like you.” He said to you and you turned around to see him leaning towards you and then in a milli-second his lips are on yours and that’s all that you could remember.
You and Him.
One World.
Completely Alone.
You pulled back after a while and he offered to help you up and you took it. He took you home and you leaned over to kiss him and you asked him for entrance which he accepted and then he grinned and you did too and you were about to close the door.
“Derek?” you asked
“Yeah?” he said
“I really, really like you too.” You said smiling before closing the door and going inside your house and you saw Chris and Valerie on the couch watching a movie.
“Hey Roxy” They both said
“Hey” you said back putting your jacket away.
“How was the date with you and Derek?” Valerie asked
“How’d you know it was Derek?” you asked
“Chris told me.” She said smiling
You glared at him but then put a smile on.
“It was amazing” you said with a sigh and then you grinned and went upstairs.
“Good night you guys!” you said yelling on your way up.
“Night!” They yelled.
You could’ve sworn you heard someone say “She’s falling for him”
And you didn’t want to think about it but in the back of your head, you knew that it might 99.9 percent be true. =]
