(Part 1)

(13 Years Later)

Your Point of View (Roxanne’s)

You were already on the plane to New York and you had called Trisha, your mom’s best friend to assure her that the plane came on time and she said she had your bedroom ready for you and you just thanked her and told her you had to turn off the phone because the plane assistances told you. You looked down as you left the town you grew up and started to get sad but you didn’t cry, you weren’t this weak so you got your headphones and listened to Foo Fighters as loud as you can throughout the whole plane ride. You were already asleep by the time you felt someone shake you and you had to admit you were a heavy sleeper so you ended up opening your eyes to an empty plane.

“Miss, the plane landed half an hour ago and your luggage is outside.” The assistance said as she stretched her hand out as if to say ‘this way’ so you got up and took your bag out from on top and followed her and you got your luggage and you went to the place where they usually pick up people and you were looking everywhere when you saw a guy in a tuxedo with a sign saying your name so you started to go towards it.

“Hello, Roxanne I assume?” he said bowing to you.

“Yea but you can call me Roxy.” You said and he started to walk outside and got your luggage.

“Well then Ms. Roxy, I am James and I welcome you to New York” he said as he opened the door to the car and you gladly went inside and you rushed by New York and the next thing you knew the car had stopped and James came out and opened your door and you stepped out and he got your luggage and you followed him inside a fancy apartment which you guessed was Trisha’s and Julian’s apartment and they had a really nice one too but then again they are famous models. You thanked James and he dismissed himself and you saw a note on the refrigerator and you got it.

You got your bags and went into the guestroom, which is huge by the way, and unpacked all your belongings. After you were done, you sat down on the bed. So here you are, Roxanne Evans at the age of 17 and alone in the hugest apartments you ever saw and you were alone and you couldn’t believe that just 3 months ago your life was perfect, it was perfect until that one day and you didn’t like to think about it so you ended up getting your headphones and zoned out with the loudness of the music.
