Angel was on her knees, reading the Bible and taking notes. Gabriel had taken Joseph with him and Sophia, leaving her alone. She prayed and read, prayed and read, her mind full of ideas and words to say. She closed her Bible and prayed once more, getting up and walking out of her room. She found herself completely alone. She sighed, she wanted so much to tell Gabriel all she had read. She knew what she was going to preach about.

O Lord...I'm so excited and nervous....Help me...Be there with me...Be the One who speaks, not me...

She put on some Kirk Franklin and sang her heart out as she waited for Gabriel to come home. When he finally did he found her smiling. He hugged her tight, Joseph in his stroller laughing.

"Did you find what you were looking for?"

"Yes!!!! It's in-"

"Surprise me babe."

"But..."

"I know, you're excited. But I know that come Friday, you're really going to surprise me."

He kissed her forehead and she smiled, her eyes shining.

"Oh! But I did read Hosea and Gomer's story and I learned so much!!!"

He smiled, seeing her so happy and alive. She had that look on her face as little girls do when they learned something new.

"Come here..", she said as she took Joseph into her arms. She smiled, he was amazing. She walked with him into the kitchen, grabbing his bottle filled with apple juice. She sat down on the chair, talking to him as he drank. He looked at her as if he was in full understanding of what she said.

"Joseph was the greatest man in all of Egypt, after Pharoah of course. But that's not why I named you that. It's because after all he went through he didn't forget God. He praised God through it all and came out strong. He embraced the trials and saw everything to his benefit. Like you..."

She kissed him and he pulled the bottle out of his mouth to laugh. Angel smiled.

So that's it Lord..Only a few more days until Friday....
