Angel stood behind the curtain, her hands in her pockets. She was wearing Gabriel's clothes, her hair in a messy bun. She hoped she could pull this off..Lord be with me....She heard Mosely introducing her, his "finest" student.

"And so I present, Angel!"

The curtains opened and she smiled as she heard the applause, her head down and her eyes at her feet. She rummaged with a few things in her pockets. She pretended to drink liqour, walking around drunken.

"Damn you!! Damn this pain...You broke me heart......", She cried aloud. She looked up to the ceiling as if something was there.

"You!", she said pointing up into the nothing in the ceiling.

"You're supposed to love me! And look at me here...I'm alone..Am I a joke?"

She paced back and force in frustration, cursing God and all those who had hurt her. She pretended to cut herself and she fell to the floor. She heard the gasp from the audience when she cried in pain, saying it burned. She wanted to die. She cried that she could feel the flames. She heard someone sobbing. She started crying, then a short moment silence. She then stood up, as if from a deep sleep. She looked at her arms and she smiled. She got up and looked around.

"You love me? You forgave me?"

She touched her face and her skin.

"I'm alive?! You healed me!" She faced the audience after she fell to her knees and smiled.

She paused as if hearing the response. She faced the audience.

"All things in Christ are made new. I was dead am now alive. Life from the ashes."

Everyone stood up and cheered, clapping and shouting her name. She got off stage and found herself with Gabriel and Sophia, Alex, Dean and Camila. All holding roses. They hugged her and congratulated her. Gabriel kissed her and smiled.

 "You did so good. I'm so proud of you."

Everyone who participated was called back on stage where Mosley presented the winners. Desiree, from the rival school got runner up. When Mosley screamed Angel as the 1st place winner everyone got up and cheered. Mosley flaunted the trophy in his ex's face, everyone laughing. Angel made him stop, hugging him tight and thanking him.

"For what?"

"For giving me freedom."

He smiled and nodded, Angel had faught her demons on the stage, coming out victorious.
