Angel laid on her back, her gaze on the dark nothingness of her ceiling. She could hear Gabriel's soft breathing beside her, Joseph's little mumblings from his crib. She could hear the faint whispers of Sophia on the phone with Alex. She sighed and put her hand on her belly.

Lord...I haven't felt anything lately. I haven't thought about you, the miscarriage, anything. Ever since Camila came into our lives I have just thought on her and helping her. And now that you saved her Lord, I have to come back to my life. And I can't believe where I'm at. Father I need you, I feel as if I've strayed away......I don't seek you as I once did. I know it's by your grace we have been ok lately. But I don't know...What is wrong with me? I'm numb Lord....I don't want to be this way.....I never truly got over losing the baby.....It hurts Father...There's a void in my heart and nothing is filling it....

She closed her eyes and laid on her side, sadness filling that void. She fell asleep, waking up soon after when Gabriel was getting ready for work. She heard Blanca walk in with Camila, Blanca asking Sophia where Joseph was. Angel got up from the bed and grabbed Joseph, blowing Gabriel a kiss. Blanca took Joseph into her arms, Angel walking to the bathroom. Sophia was sitting on the counter, aready dressed and ready. Alex was coming to get her. Angel took a little longer than usual in the bathroom, coming out in her towel and rushing to the room. She got dressed and grabbed her bag. She and Camila said goodbye to everyone, Angel kissing Gabriel long before leaving. Camila tugged at her arm.

"We're gonna be late."

Angel laughed and kissed Gabriel again, walking after Camila. They continued down the same path to school, Angel silent.

"Dean is moving a few blocks from home."

Angel smiled, Camila was happy as ever.

"Gabriel got him a job at the shop with him."

Angel nodded and Camila made her stop.

"You can talk about it now Angel. You saved my life. It's your turn to be healed. It's time you put you as a priority."

Angel nodded and they entered the school, heading to their classes. Last period came and Angel sat down as Camila made a parody of herself, talking like a stereotypical Cali girl. Mosley was laughing aloud, the class capping loudly. Mosley looked at Angel, telling her to go up. Camila sat down and Angel sighed, standing center stage. She looked at Mosley and her mind went blank. He looked at her confused and she felt all of her feelings rushing up on her. She wanted to push her feelings back down but they were too much for her. She rushed off stage and grabbed her bag and left the room, leaving the school before anyone could catch up to her.

She found herself at the park, sitting under a tree. She brought her knees to her chest and started crying, no one was around to see her. She ignored the vibrating of the cellphone in her pocket. When the calls stopped she wiped her tears and looked up at the sky. She knew how to get better. But was she willing?
