He put his hands over his eyes, they were open. He closed them and opened them again, darkness. He reached out for Tirzah, he felt her face, her full lips, he felt the hot tears fall from his eyes.

"Tirzah, how is your father?"

She hugged Azriel tight.

"He is dead....My Abba is dead...."

"Please forgive me.."

"It is not your fault...."

He nodded, it wasn't his fault. He was lied to by his own brother, by the one man he saw as his father. Tirzah looked up at Azriel, he was looking down in her direction but not at her.

"My love?"

She waved her hands before his eyes. She put a hand to her mouth, he couldn't see her. She took his hand and although he couldn't see she looked into his eyes.

"I will be your eyes now..."

He smiled, she was wiping his tears. He heard people coming from behind them. He heard Yocheved scream when she saw Yaakov, Miriam as well. Tirzah kissed his cheek and he heard her consoling them. He also heard the hard steps of men coming.

"No, no!", Yocheved cried as the men took Yaakov's body away. The king had ordered for his body to be buried in the royal graveyard. Tirzah let Miriam stay with her mother and she walked back to Azriel, he was still standing where she had left him. He was listening to all the sounds coming from all directions.

"My love, come with me..."

Azriel held her hand, doing what she told him to go back down the stairs. He put his hand on the wall, remembering how many doors inside was her room. She opened the door, Azriel hearing it creak. He felt his way to the bed. He sat down, feeling Tirzah's curls brush against his arm when she sat down. He felt her touching his cheek and he smiled. He turned his face to where he thought her face would be, he could still see her hazel eyes in his mind.

"Are you alright my love? Did Ezekiel hurt you?"

"No...He tried to...But I fought him. He put up a good fight.."

She laughed but then Azriel sensed her sadness.

"Oh my lord...After you left he talked of how foolish you were for believing him...He said that Al-Haid had came to him after you left the guild and talked to him of the peace Ezekiel had wanted. But they corrupted his heart....He believed force would bring about justice..So he went after Abba...he tied up my Ima and my sister...When he came for me, I was trying to get to you...He killed the two guards in front of me...I was running and he caught me and brought me to the room. He tried to rape me and I fought back...But when we reached the roof, I saw my father, I couldn't fight...And then you came..."

She was crying now, Azriel had never noticed until now how silent she was when she cried. He reached out and put his hand on her cheek. He felt her smile, he remembered her beautiful smile.

"Where is he now? Did he run off?"

She pulled away and he reached out for her again, putting his hand on her hand.

"Where is he?"

"You didn't see where you threw him?"

"No...I had my eyes closed, they were burned by then."

"My lord..He fell off the roof."
