For the next few days, Ezekiel slept outside of Azriel's home. Tirzah would sneak him food as Azriel worked inside. Azriel would perch himself on the roof and watch his brother, who was always in meditation.

"My lord, it is raining..."

"I know..."

Azriel was eating dinner and looking at the open window, Ezekiel holding his cloak tight around him.

"Are you enjoying this?"

"Yes..."

"You're behaving like a brute."

Azriel sighed and got up, opening the door. He stood there, Ezekiel looking at him.

"Do you wish to come in or not?"

Ezekiel stood up and bowed, follwing Azriel inside. Azriel led him to a room and handed him dry clothes.

"Dress and come to dinner. My wife made lamb....You like lamb..."

Ezekiel smiled, dressing as Azriel closed the door. He looked at himself in the mirror, he liked how well he fit into Azriel's clothes. He walked into the dining room, Azriel eating as his wife sang to him. In Ezekiel's eyes Azriel was in a most abnormal calm.

"Sit down....My love, would you fetch him some food?"

"Of course.."

She stood, walking away, Ezekiel watching her hips sway from left to right. She returned and placed his plate before him, placing a golden cup filled with wine. He thanked her and began to eat.

"Tirzah, my love, go wait for me as I speak to him.."

She smiled and kissed him, whispering into his ear in Greek to hurry. He smiled and kissed her again, Tirzah running off. 

"Now brother, what is it you wished to speak to me about?"

"I need your help brother."

"Ezekiel, I have no heart to go back to murder. I have a good wife, a peaceful home. A peaceful life. Is that not what you tried to accomplish?"

"Yes..And I almost had it..I became a soldier and I was going to marry a good maiden from Jerusalem. But she...dissapeared."

"I regret she left but what does that have to do with me?"

"It is her.."

"Her? Who is her?"

"I was to marry Tirzah daughter of Yaakov, sister of Ruel the man you were sent to kill. She left a week before we were to be married and her father bade me find her and bring her home."

Azriel stood up and looked at his brother in anger.

"I have lost my patience with you. Go and get your things, I donnot wish to see your face when I return."

Azriel stormed off into his room, closing the door behind him. Tirzah sat up beside him, kissing his cheek.

"What took you?"

He smiled and looked into her eyes.

"My love, did you ever meet the man you were going to marry?"

"No, I would never have met him until the wedding night.."

"What was his name?"

"Ezekiel...But known as the Prin-"

She gasped.

"My lord, it is him! He has come to take me home?!"

"No, you are mine now..No one has any say over you now but I. Not even your father. Fret not, my love, I will not let you go..."

He kissed her and had her lay back down, he wanted to go make sure is brother had left.

"You are still here."

"I have not finished."

"What now. Hurry up, my patience is gone."

"If you love Tirzah as you say you do you will help me."

"Leave her out of this!!!"

"You see, Al-Haid plans on assassinating the right hand of the King. Without the right hand, the King has no real protection.."

"Brother that is no longer my business."

"But it is..The King's right hand is Yaakov, Tirzah's beloved father."
