"Oh Tirzah..Wake up...Wake up..", he whispered softly. He was still holding her hand, tears falling from his eyes. He put a hand on her cheek, it was still warm.

Yahweh...Are you letting her stay with me? God of Israel I....I promise to never kill again, so as long as you keep her with me. I have learned a life filled with love at her side, a life with meaning. If you take her now, what hope shall I have left? Azriel leaned over, covering his face with his hands. His heart stopped and beat faster when he felt her small hand touch his.

"My lord? Why do you weep?"

He looked at her in amazement, she was awake, gazing into his eyes with love. Her smile, her tender touch; Yahweh surely let her stay with him. Azriel took her into his arms, holding her close. She laughed and wrapped her arms around him.

"I feared you'd never wake."

"I promised to never leave your side, my lord."

He kissed her forehead and looked at her.

"I made a promise to your God..."

She smiled and put her hand on his cheek.

"And what did my lord promise Him?"

"To never kill again, so as long as he kept you by my side..."

She looked at him and smiled.

"Do you mean it?"

"With every fiber of my being..."

"My lord?"

"Yes?"

She didn't speak, she only looked into his eyes, seeing no lie in them. She saw honesty, respect, and the look she had longed for; love. She didn't put a thought to it, she lifted herself and sat on his lap, staring into his eyes. She traced the outline of his lips as he held her in his arms. He felt as if something had struck his heart the moment she pressed her lips against his, like a fire burning within him. Eternity may have happened as they kissed, not letting go of one another even after they stopped.

"Tirzah?"

"Yes?"

"I love you, Tirzah."

"And I love you, Azriel."

"Would you spend eternity with me?"

"Yes, till the end."

"Would you spend this lifetime by my side?"

"Until the death."
