Sophia started school that Monday, new clothes, new books, new hair. She chopped it up, dyed it black. She was ready to start over. Angel introduced her to their friends from church, everyone greeting Sohpia with love and affection.

She came home from her first day, sad and quiet. Angel tended to Joseph as Gabriel took her out to talk. He led her up to the roof, sitting her down on the chairs.

"What's up?"

"Gabe...I feel weird...Everyone is so nice. I'm so, dirty and disgusting."

"Sophia...You're not dirty. You ain't disgusting. You're beautiful. You know you can be clean again. You just don't want to accept it."

"Gabe, I didn't have God all my life ok?!"

"And I did? You and I know the hell we went through. I haven't always been this way."

"Yea...Well....Fine, maybe you're right. But still. How can I just be forgiven and just be better again. What if guys remember me?"

"Let the remember. By the time they see you again, you will be so different. And with the way you dress now, no one will recognize you."

He laughed as she playfully hit him. She hugged her brother.

"So how do I get this Jesus to fix me?"

"Well, you come to him with an open and willing heart. You say God, I come before you, asking you to come into my life."

She repeated it.

"I ask that you forgive my my every sin, that you write my name in the Book of Life. Clean me Lord, make me new. I need you and I know without you, I am lost. I need you Lord and I accept you as my Saviour. Guide me Father, in the right path, hold my hand in this walk. In you Holy Name, Amen."

She smiled.

"Better?"

"Yea...So just like that huh?"

"Yep. Some people take longer than others but, yea it's that simple."

She hugged him.

"Sis, it ain't gonna be easy. You might get tempted to fall again, to go back to the past. But know now that you have us, you have God. He won't let you down. You have been forgiven from this moment on, and like Jesus said once, Go and sin no more."

"Thanks Gabriel....."

"I love you sis."

"I love you too..."

She cried in his arms, her pain and sorrows coming up. She felt peace when she was done, Gabriel was drying her eyes and smiling.

"So what happens now?"

"You push forward."

"And if I fall?"

"You get back up and keep walking."

 Sophia dressed in one of Angel's dresses, holding Gabriel's hand as she walked to the altar one Friday night. She was prayed for as she cried for what seemed forever. Gabriel held his sister tight, comforting her as she let out her pain. He began to remember all they had gone through together, all the abuse and neglect. He prayed with all his might that she could get passed it as he did...Help her Lord...Give her all she needs to move on...Only you know what we had to go through. Only you knows how scarred she is....Help her..Please....
