Sophia felt her heart drop.....prostitute....She looked at her brother's smile, Angel's look when he said 'Rahab the prostitute'. Sophia didn't think Angel knew anything about her, Gabriel must have not said anything.

"Rahab was a prostitute. But because of her faith, she was made new. She was saved. Her faith led her to become the ancestor of our good King David.", Gabriel said smiling.

"Regardless of her past, Rahab knew God was real and he was almighty. She understood believing in him would give her a better life. Her faith made her new, her past was forgiven and she became in a sense, the mother of a King.", Angel added, seeing Sophia's eyes glisten. Sophia had deep dark eyes, not at all like Gabriel. Angel smiled and Sophia bowed her head. Gabriel got up and kissed Angel good bye.

"Work calls...You guys get acquainted. I'm going to Elizabeth right after work to get her stuff."

He walked out, Angel looking down at the Bible.

"You can read about her, if you want.", Angel said handing her the Bible. Sophia took it, looking at the words in bold. She looked at Angel, smiling and bright.

"So you really think God really loved her? Rahab, I mean..."

"He loves everyone. Murderers, thieves, prostitutes, rich, poor, everyone. He made us all. He doesn't like the things we do but He still loves us. He loved me even though I drank and smoked and partied till I dropped. He loved when I tried to kill myself. He loved me when I ran away from home. He loved me after I was raped and he made me whole again. And He loves you, no matter what it is inside that you're holding in."

Sophia began to cry, Angel going to her to hold her.

"So He loves me, even if I'm a prostitute?"

"Yes....But you don't have to be one anymore. God brought you here to us, we'll take care of you."

"Oh Angel....Gabriel picked me up...If he hadn't called me sis, I'd of done him in the car."

"It's ok...It's forgiven...Gabriel loves you no matter what. And he found you and brought you home. Just don't put yourself down. That's in the past now. You are here, with us. We love you and we're going to take care of you."

Sophia nodded and held on to Angel, Angel praying for her in whispers. Sophia felt right here, this was all right. She just listened and smiled, Angel cared. Someone she just met cared for her more than everyone she had known her whole life.

Angel said amen, kissing Sophia on the forehead. She wiped Sophia's tears and smiled.

"We'll be ok. We'll make it through together."
