Angel knocked on the door, Mr. Gonsalez opening it with a look of surprise. He led Angel and Gabriel into the living room. Alex walked in, he was smiling and apparently just waking up. He smiled when he saw Joseph, but he felt uneasy when he saw Gabriel holding him. Angel took Joseph and walked up to Alex, Gabriel sitting back and trying not to think too much about Alex. He wasn't happy about having Alex all of a sudden in the picture.

"Look Joseph, it's your father.", she said smiling, Alex taking hold of him. Gabriel felt a knot in his stomach; Angel and Alex, they looked like a mother and father happy as ever with their son....Their son....Gabriel shook his head.He knew she loved him, not Alex. She was only here to be nice. To show Alex she was truly forgiving him and that she was giving him a chance. A chance to be there for Joseph. He watched them play with the baby, talking to him and doing what he and Angel had done together. He got up and excused himself. He walked to the car and went in, resting his head on the steering wheel. He fought with himself. He knew he was being silly, but he couldn't help himself from feeling like he was the one who didn't belong in the picture.

 "Hey....", Angel said, tapping the window, telling him to come out.

"Baby, you ok?"

"Yea, I was just thinking.."

"Come on inside, his dad just made us lunch and Alex doesn't know how to feed a baby. I wanted you to do it."

She took his hand and looked up at him. He faked a smile and she shook her head, kissing him and then dragging him back inside. Mr.Gonsalez was holding his grandson, Alex was eating at the table. Gabriel grabbed the bottle and took Joseph into his arms. He walked to the living room and fed him as Angel ate at the table. He looked at Joseph silver eyes...If you only knew how much I love you...He smiled as Joseph wrapped his small hands around his finger. He kissed him, to him, no matter what, Joseph was his son...Even if his real father was only a few feet away, staring at them.

Gabriel jumped into bed as Angel put Joseph to bed. He had his back to the door when she walked in, she knew something was bothering. But she sighed and grabbed her Bible, heading to the living room. Gabriel laid on his back, looking up at the celing. He knew he was wrong for feeling this way, jealousy was never a part of his character before. But it was more the picture of Angel and Alex together, smiling and playing with their son that was tearing him up on the inside.

Angel sat down on the couch alone, wondering what could possibly be bothering Gabriel. She had seen the way he and Alex looked at eachother when one was with her or when on held Joseph. She shook her head, Gabriel couldn't be jealous. She got up and went into the room, lying down next to him. She laid her head on his chest. He put his arm around her.

"What's wrong Gabe?"

"Nothing...."

"I know you by now. What's wrong?"

"I really don't want to talk about it."

"Ok..well when you want to you know I'm right here."

"I know baby. I love you."

"I love you too."

He kissed her and she got out of bed, checking on Joseph before resuming her reading. Gabriel got up and grabbed the keys to the car and after kissing her, walked out. He got in the car and sped off.
