Tear

Drama Created on 7-25-08 Views(33) Story Rating PG

Emily Bonn was not like most girls, she did not dread the morning nor did she become jealous of a single friendly look at her soon to be husband, Jacob Kinner. Emily was the mellow, go with the flow working middle class sort of hero to some.

She woke up today, and brushed her long locks of dusty brown hair, and slowly applied her mascara being careful to not over-do her daily wear. Today was different from her other days, today was the day she though Mr. Right was going to take the next step in the yearful relationship. She smiled at the though of saying yes, and kissing his nearly perfectly proportioned lips. Maybe today was the day that she didn't have to fall asleep because her reality was finally more perfect than her dreams. If only she could get out of the door in time to get to work.

You see, Emily never did worry about getting hitched. She always thought that if she was patient it would come. What ever "It" was, emily hadn't quite made it that far. One track mind, her mother always told her. She couldn't walk and chew bubble gum. She couldn't hold a conversation at a dinner table. Maybe that's why Mr. Right fell for her.

"Yeah, that's how I snagged such a great guy." She thought to herself, standing between the door and the hallway. She figured she had to think of something great to say at their wedding about what exactly got his attention. One track mind, and now she's late to work.
