Bell tied her hair behind her head in a perfect pony. Her eyes were red from lack of sleep and her body trembled vigorously from her medication effects. It had been almost 4 months since Jason had taken his own life and left her alone in the world. Since then Bell and her family had moved back to Jersey and her parents were making her visit a therapist 4 times a week.
Deep down inside Bell knew that no therapist nor medication could ease the pain that ate away at her everyday since Jason's death. She had loved him so much...and now he was simply gone. ''Can a heart truely break?'' Bell asked herself as she starred at herself in the giant mirror of her new room.
''Bell...'' There was a slight knock on the door...an dthen Mrs. Parker walked in. ''Yes mother.'' Bell said trying her best to produce a believeable smile. ''Are you ready for your first day back to school?'' her mother asked.
Bell turned back towards the mirror and looked down at her jewlry box. ''Mom I need to add one more thing to my outfit. Could you give me a moment?'' she asked. Her mother nodded. ''I'll be in the car.''
Bell waited until she heard the front door open and then slam before she reached for the jewlry box. She slowly opened the lid. Inside was a small cross necklace. Bell smiled weakly. It had belonged to Jason. Bell ran her index finger along the cool steel of the necklace...it was vibrant and fulfilling. She closed her eyes and imagined the necklace around Jason's neck and how amazingly sexy he looked everytime he'd wear the cross with no shirt.
Then a tears came to her eyes when she remembered the day when the cross was covered in dark, red blood. Jason's blood.
