    Candy soon realized the tension between the two brothers.  I mean, come on, they were polar oposites.  Alex was cute,shy and polite and Kole was dark, bitter, and rude.  Yet the bother were still so tantalizing.

    "Can i talk to you for a sec candy?" Alex shyly asked, interupting the awkard silence.  Candy glanced at Kole who looked disapproving. WAIT! why do i care, i can do what ever i want, and i was interested in Alex too.  "Sures^^" she smiled, leaving kole behind and walking twards the rusty swing set on the outskirts of the school premosis.  "So what is it you wanted to talk bout?"  Candy ask, dantily sitting down apon the swing after wiping it off with her hankerchief.  She notice as she did so, Alex looked at her with naive longing in his eyes. She smiled.  "Well, i, i just wanted to warn you" he looked down "Its about Kole, its just, hes not a the kind of guy a girl should get associated with, thats all" Candy smile didnt fade, he was worried about her, how cute.  "Its ok Ally(Her new nickname for him apparently) we werent doing anything serious, just joking around, its not like were dating" Alex's face lit up "really??". " Yea..is there a reason your so concerned?"

Alex blushed "Well sorta" he stuttered "I was wondering, would you accompany me to an upcoming ball my fathers holding at our home this weekend?"

What..? Candy was stunned, she had never even had a full conversation with this boy, and HIS FATHERS PARTY.  How, in the world, could she show up to the headmaster "suarre" arm in arm with his sucessor!?!?
